Epic Seven Night Of The Last Succession Side Story - How To Obtain All Rewards

With the release of the limited time side story Night Of The Last Succession, players will have the chance to partake in a special story involving the succession of Lilias and obtain a large variety of rewards limited only to the event. In addition, players will also be able to partake in a one of a kind Epic Seven gameplay mode - Brawl where players will have to strategize in order to fight waves of enemies and obtain the event’s rewards.

Night Of The Last Succession - Main Story Stages

In the brand new Night Of The Last Succession Limited Time Side Story, players will be able to participate in the story of the events by completing individual story nodes accessible via the event’s map. Once entered, players will be treated with high quality cutscenes involving the story of the event, and will have to make decisions in order to reach the correct and good conclusion for the story in order to obtain all of the rewards available in the story.

In addition, while going through the story of the event, players will be able to obtain special character information and clues regarding the specific individuals involved in this side story ,by collecting clues and finishing certain story nodes for the side story, players will be treated with a large amount of event rewards including character upgrading materials, Gold, up to 6 Gold Transmit Stones and gifts to increase characters’ bond level.

Night Of The Last Succession - Brawl

A brand new gameplay function that has been introduced into the game with the release of the limited time side story Night Of The Last Succession is that of the special Brawl battles. Players can access the Brawl function of the event by completing the story of the event up to a certain point, allowing players to unlock the mode for the entire event duration in order to fight other enemies in order to obtain even more rewards from the event.

The Brawl gamemode is a special gamemode uniquely available for players to challenge in the Night Of The Last Succession side story where players will be able to recruit special heroes and have them fight against waves of enemies in a chess like gameplay style never before seen in Epic Seven.

 

The Brawl mode is divided into 2 different stages: the deployment stage and the battle stage, each with their own quirk and important things to note.

Night Of The Last Succession - Brawl Deployment Stage

At the Deployment stage of the Brawl, players will be treated with a special deployment recruitment button that is divided into 3 rarities - Bronze, Silver and Gold, with each rarity requiring different amounts of coins to be spent in order to recruit heroes of that rarity. The Bronze rarity will mainly allow players to recruit heroes with 3* and above rarity, the Silver will allow players to recruit heroes with 4* rarity and above, and finally, the Gold rarity will guarantee to give players a 5* rarity hero to deploy.

Once players have recruited the heroes using the buttons, they can then deploy the heroes onto the stage using a grid like system, with a maximum of 8 heroes being allowed on the battlefield at the same time. If players happen to recruit the same hero multiple times with the recruit button, the imprint and stat of that hero will be increased with each duplicate the players obtain.

In addition, certain sets of heroes will form special Synergy, which provide the entire party and heroes on the battlefield special buffs by combining and deploying specific heroes of the same class or the same archetype.

Night Of The Last Succession - Brawl Battle Stage

After the players have finished their deployment stage, they will enter the battle stage in Brawl where the heroes deployed onto the battlefield will auto battle and fight each other head to head on the battlefield. It is important to note that the position of specific heroes are extremely important in the battle stage as the heroes and enemies will move in real time and attack each other one at a time in a real time battle.

Most of the heroes who specialize in close-ranged combat will immediately run towards the enemy and deal damage to them, while ranged heroes like Rangers will stand from a far and deal damage to them. If there’s a gap in the heroes’ defense line, enemies can also get past the melee heroes and prioritize attacking the back row heroes, making it extremely important for players to plan their attacks and defense accordingly.

 

In addition, in battle, every hero will have a special skill that will activate after they have hit the enemies a certain amount of time, with each hero having their unique abilities and skills that grant different effects like buffing the allies, debuffing the enemies or simply dealing damage to enemies surrounding them.

Together with the release of the special Night Of The Last Succession Side Story event, the main character of the side story - Midnight Gala Lilias will also make her debut as a limited 5* Hero on her own rate up banner.

Midnight Gala Lilias

Midnight Gala Lilias is a 5* Thief Hero of the Earth element that specializes in dealing massive amounts of damage to 1 enemy, with the damage increasing proportional to the difference between her max HP and the enemy’s max HP.

Midnight Gala Lilias’ main strong point lies in her 3rd skill, which allows her to take into account the difference between her own max HP stat and the enemy’s max HP in order to deal a devastating blow to the enemy, penetrating their defense proportional to the difference between their stats, helping her to be able to completely ignore the defense of tanky heroes and deal massive amounts of damage to them with ease. This, coupled with her 2nd skill passive which allows her to increase the combat readiness and attack of all allies, allows her to become a very powerful opener for a battle in both PvE and PvP contents.
