Epic Seven Halloween 2023 Event Guide

With the spooky halloween season coming and going, Epic Seven is holding the last patch of its halloween season contents by releasing a special update patch featuring various new events, a brand new gamemode called Rift, and several special limited time campaigns celebrating the release of 2 brand new limited banners, featuring 2 brand new 5* characters - The 5* Fire Warrior Kane and The 5* Moonlight Hero Abyssal Yufine.

In this guide, we will go over the details of the special contents available for all players to partake in during this Halloween 2023 period and advise players on how they can best obtain all of the events’ rewards in the fastest and most efficient way possible. Epic Seven Halloween 2023 Update Patch - What To Expect

With the season of Halloween upon us, Epic Seven is bringing several special changes and new game modes into the game through its brand new update patch in order to provide players with a bunch of amazing rewards.

E7WC 2023 Hall Of Fame Update

With the end of Epic 7 World Cup, the special RTA hall of fame for players will be updated with a special reward for all players to claim - The special lv88 E7WC Championship Ring.

In order to claim this special reward, all players have to do is to enter the RTA section of the arena and enter the hall of frame to claim it. Please note that the reward distribution period is very long so players can obtain this Ring anytime they want to. However, once the players have leveled up the Ring and determined its substats, players will only be able to reset its substat once after the 31st of October, so players should take note. In addition, if players have modified the sub stat of the ring in any way, players won’t be able to reset its substats at all using the reset stone, so please do be careful.

Brand New Game Mode - Rift

The newly introduced game mode for this Epic Seven update is the specially available Rift Mode, where players will have to challenge a rift boss multiple times in order to be able to obtain special equipment designed solely for Rift. 

To start and participate in the Rift gamemode, players will have to have cleared up to a certain point in the story for the Main Story Chapter 5 of Epic Seven. Once they have completed the required story, players will be able to join the Rift game mode. When entering the Rift game mode, players will be prompted to choose an equipment set of their choice in order to obtain it once they have defeated the Rift boss of the mode. Each entry of Rift will cost a large amount of energy so players should consider and build their team accordingly before attempting to fight the boss.

 

The boss of Rift will have up to 50 Hp bars that players need to clear, making it an extremely daunting task that will require players to fight it multiple times in order to be able to obtain a clear reward from the boss. In order to defeat the boss and obtain rewards, players will have to be able to defeat the boss within 3 tries in total, otherwise they will lose the energy they spent and the boss progress will reset right away.

Three Brand New 3* Heroes

Together with this update patch is the release of 3 new 3* Heroes that players can get by summoning on any banners. These 3* Heroes will be added directly to the general hero pool and serve different purposes with their skill kit. These brand new 3* Heroes are: The 3* Fire Knight Hero Claudia, The 3* Ice Warrior Amiki And The 3* Earth Thief Ezra

Claudia

Claudia is a 3* Fire hero of the Knight class that specializes in granting the party Immunity and punishes enemies that deal damage to all allies with AOE attacks.

Claudia’s kit revolves around her ability to punish enemies that uses AOE attacks to deal damage to all allies by activating her 2nd skill passive. Whenever an enemy uses AOE attacks, Claudia will activate a special counter attack, debuffing the enemy with an attack down debuff and grants the ally with the lowest HP a barrier to keep them alive longer. In addition, her 3rd skill allow her the ability to grant all allies Immunity buff that prevents allies from being debuffed making her a very useful ally to have in many different situations.

Amiki

Amiki is a 3* Ice Warrior that specializes in dealing massive amounts of single target damage that pierces the enemy’s defense and granting herself immortality to prevent herself from dying.

Amiki’s power lies in her ability to grant herself immortality with her passive skill and her ability to deal more damage the lower her HP. Whenever Amiki’s HP is below 30%, she will be able to penetrate the enemy’s defense by a massive 70% and deal damage to enemies with her normal attack twice every time she uses it, making her a very powerful budget damage dealer for PvE and PvP contents.

Ezra

Ezra is a 3* Earth Thief that specializes in dealing true fixed damage to enemies, completely destroying them by ignoring all of their defensive stats.

Ezra’s strong point lies in her passive skill that grants him extra combat readiness whenever the foremost ally uses a non attacking skill, allowing him to take his turns quicker. In addition, every attack he does will inflict true damage to his target, completely ignoring all of the enemy’s defensive stats.

Epic Seven Limited Rate Up Banners - Should You Pull

With the Halloween update patch, 2 brand new rate up banners will be available for all players to roll on, featuring 2 new limited heroes - The 5* Fire Warrior Kane and The 5* Moonlight Hero Abyssal Yufine.

Kane

Kane is a 5* Fire Warrior that specializes heavily on accumulating Fighting Spirits whenever allies apply the Bleed debuffs on enemies, allowing him to become Immortal by granting himself Immortality and Vampirism.

Kane, being the vampire lord, makes it so that his skill kit revolves solely around his Vampirism - Bleed, Vampirism and Immortality. Kane’s strong point lies in his 2nd skill passive which allow him to accumulate Fighting Spirits whenever another ally aside from himself apply the Bleed to status on the enemy and let him spend the Fighting Spirits in order to grant himself Immortality when he is hit by a lethal attack and grants him Vampirism - allowing him to heal back his HP with his attacks. Kane’s 3rd skill is an extremely powerful skill that deals a single target attack to the enemy and deals extra damage proportional to the amount of debuffs on the enemy. Kane is a hero dedicated to the brand new Rift game mode, making him a very powerful hero for the mode.

Abyssal Yufine

Abyssal Yufine is a 5* Dark Elemental Hero of the Knight class that has a very unique mechanics of changing between stances with her 3rd skill, allowing to become extremely offensive oriented or defensive oriented depending on her stance.

Abyssal Yufine’s 2nd Skill Passive allow her to reduce all combat readiness increase effects of the enemy team by a massive 50% and allow her to accumulate Fighting Spirit, spending them to dispel all debuffs when they are full. In addition, Abyssal Yufine has an innate 30% counterattack chance dealing AOE damage with her Skill 1. When using her skill 3, Abyssal Yufine will be inflicted with Trauma, changing her stance from defensive to offensive, increases her attack and speed stats three-fold and make her normal attack penetrate the enemy’ defense by a massive 70% for 3 turns in exchange for her defense stats.

Should You Roll

Yes, You Should. Both 5* heroes are extremely powerful and are very valuable to have, so players should roll for both of them granted they have currencies saved up for them.
