Blade & Soul Revolution: Winds of Rage-Items and System Preview | Complete May 2021 Update Guide

Everyone's favorite, Blade & Soul Revolution, is getting a plethora of updates in May. With tons of updates now piled up, we're going to be providing you with a complete overview of everything you need to know about the new features being presented in the game for May 2021. These updates are taken from the official patch notes from the game. Let's get right to it!

 

New Responsive Dungeon Combat System:

 

 

With the shift to Unreal Engine 4, the developers plan to add a completely revamped responsive dungeon system to help make battles feel more immersive and realistic. While previous iterations of the system revolved around memorizing the actions of a particular boss and then beating them. This isn't exactly fun for longer sustained periods.

 

Now, scoring will be based on synergetic plays rather than DPS numbers. Combos will be awarded and looked at much more than just raw DPS. Plus, a successful combo will provide players with an immediate animation response to let them know they did well. Lastly, MVP mentions can now be collected in each dungeon, with moments being recorded to let you know if you've done it at a particular point or not.

 

The developers have mentioned that new features and updates about the dungeon system will be further released in Q3.

 

Winds of Rage Launching On May 12:

 

 

With trouble lurking in Thornwind Vale as an innocent request is poisoned by the Inner Conclave, the Winds of Rage event is finally here alongside the brand new Thornwind Cavern.

 

The six players Heroic Dungeon is recommended for Level 60 players. The plot revolves around the memory of Madun as it reemerges with Chundoon seeking help to bring close to Madun's familiar, Uzume, after she's quite disgruntled due to Madun's sacrifice in Thornwind Cavern. However, with an instantaneous invasion of the Vale by the Inner Conclave, Uzume's grief has now turned into a Wild Rage.

 

If you end up defeating Uzume, you gain access to materials that help you upgrade to the next line of Legendary PVE Bracelet, Ring, and Ear Ring.

 

New Talisman Tiers:

 

Your Overture Talisman can now be upgraded to the next tier, Skywatch. Upgrading it will provide you with increased HP and defense stats. So, if you haven't been upgrading your talisman in a while, this might be the perfect time to do so. Costs for all previous talismans have also been reduced.

 

Daily Perks Calendar:

 

The old Daily Dash System has been running around for about five years. Now, a new successor is going to be coming. Now, you'll be able to see all the future daily rewards as well. Plus, every time you log in, you can get a reward for your daily visit as well. These rewards are guaranteed as soon as you try to log in and collect them.

The dungeon will be available in both Easy and Hard difficulty. To start the dungeon, you can accept the quest from your Journal and then go to the Thorntail School found in Zaiwei.

The first boss you'll be finding is Voltari, who is a Guardian Spirit. You will then find the Thornwild Guardian herself, Uzume, who you must defeat.

New Winds of Rage Event:

 

 

The new Wings of Fortune event will be releasing soon, with you being able to collect Fortune Feathers to earn great rewards, including Fortune Boxes and new costumes in your wardrobe.

 

The event will be lasting from 12 May to 16 June, and the redemption period will be from 12 May to July 14, with the Event Currency being a Fortune Feather.

A new PvP mode is also coming out for the game. The event will last from May 12 to 16 June, with its redemption period from May 12 to July 14. The currency of the event will be combat rations.

• Celestial Emperor Ring Chest – Stage 1 and Celestial Emperor Earring Chest – Stage 1 from Nightfall Sanctuary will be replaced with non-upgradeable versions of the accessory chest.

 

• Unrefined Silversteel Earring Chest and Unrefined Silversteel Ring Chest from The Steelbreaker will be replaced with Silversteel Earring Chest – Stage 1 and Silversteel Ring Chest – Stage 1.

 

• Greater Naryu Sanctum Bracelet Chest and Sealed Greater Naryu Sanctum Bracelet Chest from Naryu Sanctum will be replaced with Greater Sanctum Bracelet Chest – Stage 1.

 

• Cathedra Cliffs Bracelet Chest - Stage 1 from Cathedra Cliffs will be replaced with a non-upgradeable Cathedra Cliffs Bracelet Chest.
