Arknights Module Guide | Best Modules to Upgrade First

2025-08-01

In the tower defense game Arknights, the Module System provides a significant boost to Operators. For some operators, the difference in performance with or without a module can be dramatic.

This article offers a comprehensive guide to the Module System in Arknights, covering module unlocking, upgrading materials, and must-have modules for specific Operators. Let’s dive in and explore the details!

Arknights Module

Overview of the Module System

What is Arknights Modules?

Operator Modules are unique equipment-like items that enhance an Operator's stats and either improve their existing trait or grant them a new one. These modules boost an Operator’s effectiveness, especially in their main roles.

Each Module is exclusive to a specific Operator and cannot be used by others, regardless of their class, subclass, or rarity.

How to unlock module?

The mechanic to unlock this module is similar to when you want to promote your operators.

This module can be unlocked after you elite your operators and have a certain percent of trust. For four-star rarity, you need them at Elite 2 level 40; five-star at level 50; and six-star at level 60.

And then you will need to do some specific missions to unlock that module.

  • The first Module Mission has a fairly simple objective and can be completed in most operations, except for Integrated Strategies, Paradox Simulation, and Reclamation Algorithm.
  • The second Module Mission must be completed within a designated Main Theme (on Standard Environment if applicable) or an Intermezzi/Side Story stage in the Terminal.

Both missions require the player to deploy their own copy of the Operator—Support Units do not count toward mission progress.

It will also need some special material, LMD's and other materials depending on rarity.

Arknights Module Materials

The core material needed to unlock those modules is called the module data block, and it is not something you can just farm every day. The bigger the rarity, the more you need this thing.

So make sure to make a plan of who's module to unlock first.

Module Upgrade Priority

So let's talk about the priority of whose module you should unlock first.

Of course, modules should be unlocked for operators that you use the most and love, but we will be reviewing how impactful that module is to enhance the operator's performance.

Here is a list of Operators recommended for priority Module upgrades.

Logos Module

Logos with and without the module are essentially two completely different operators. This module grants his attacks Elemental Damage and provides increased damage during the break phase, elevating his total damage output to an astounding 140,000. Compared to the non-module version, this represents a massive 71.24% increase. Consequently, this module is undoubtedly one of the top three most worthwhile modules to unlock in Arknights currently.

SilverAsh: Module X

SilverAsh Module

This module not only raises SilverAsh's DPH (Damage Per Hit) to over 3500+, but also significantly enhances his redeployment efficiency, bringing him back into the spotlight for Doctors. His advantages of long attack range and fast redeployment have also secured him a position among the top three Vanguard picks in the new Sarkaz Roguelike mode.

Ceobe: Module X

Ceobe Module

The ultimate "stronger against stronger foes" operator. Her unique Talent grants a 55% total damage increase vs. 1k DEF armor (scaling proportionally with enemy DEF). This module epitomizes armor shredding.

Lin: Module X

Lin Module

Compared to total damage gains, this module massively enhances Ling’s skill cycling during sustained combat (3× faster vs. no module) and raises her single-instance Physical Ignore damage to 1,255, enabling strong frontline performance against high-DoT threats.

Mostima: Module Y

Mostima Module

Since her damage output is unreliable, why not switch roles to become a Slower Specialist? During her skill, she applies up to 90% Slow; at Potential 5, this reaches 99%! This module elevated Mostima from a bottom-tier operator to a mid-high rank. Doctors seeking to enhance their roster's utility should consider unlocking it.

Ling: Module Y

Ling Module

Summoner viability operates independently from other classes. This module significantly enhances summon attributes, quantity, and DP cost, drastically improving Ling’s solo-clear capability.

Wisadel: Module X

Wisadel Module

This module offers pure stat boosts without new mechanics. W's dominance stems largely from her modules. Thanks to the original W’s existence, Doctors experienced her full power within two days of release. Just unlock it—after all, who could resist?

Ela: Module ∆

Ela Module

Stage 1 effect fundamentally enhances Ela's flexibility, she can now deploy from ranged tiles to ground, while her traps can be placed from ground to ranged tiles. This upgrade significantly refines her operational feel. Stages 2-3 focus on boosting Ela's personal damage output, achieving 140,000 total physical damage and granting her formidable solo combat capability.

That wraps up our module guide! And We highly recommend playing Arknights on PC through the LDPlayer emulator, which offers:
