Aether Gazer - Closed Beta First Impression & Gacha Rates

The world is collapsing in destruction, and the only way for humanity to survive was to upload the consciousness of humans into a virtual network, called “Gaea”. After creating this virtual world, anomalies have been discovered in the Gaea system, called “Visbanes”. Those anomalies, or monsters, are trying to destroy what humans have created, a peaceful virtual world where to live. To combat those Visbansed anomalies, Gaea have created super human entities, called “Deities” that have formed the “Aether Gazer” military force. Your role in the Gaea world is to be one of the “Modifiers” and fight with them under the command of the Aether Gazer organization.

What is Aether Gazer?

Aether Gazer is a new Action Combat Gacha Game, similar to games like Punishing Gray Raven. The game features real time fights with 1 controllable Character (Modifier) and another 2 Modifiers controlled by AI. You can switch the character you want to play before battle, but not during it. Every Modifier has different Weapons, Combo System, Energy resources and Generation/Classes, making them totally different from each other. There’s a lot of game modes to play with, such as Main Story, Daily Dungeons, Special Dungeons with Daily/Weekly rewards, Guild Content and Much more. The Gameplay is fluid and smooth, with a steady 60 FPS even on Emulators. Despite being only a Beta test, the game quality is same as AAA Console Title. If you like Action Combat Games with great graphics, good optimization for all devices and rich PvE Content, this is the game you are looking for!

 

Early Game Content

Storyline

 

The “Storyline” is the first content you unlock in Aether Gazer, and also one of the most important for early game. With Storyline you can experience the game story up to Chapter 5, but also increase your Account Level, get Exp Materials for both your Modifier and Access Keys/Sigils, get new Sigils and complete Main Story Quest. Completing all the 5 Chapter will give you enough Experience for reaching Account Level 30, unlocking most content for the game. After you finish the Storyline in Normal Difficulty, You can complete all the Chapter Again in Hard Difficulty.

 

Sigil

 

In The “Sigil” tab you can obtain different Sigil at stamina cost. Everyday, you can choose 1 Type of Sigil (Ex: Dark Plague, Mermaid’s Tear etc.) and obtain a Rate Up drop rate for that kind of Sigil. At start you will only obtain 3 Stars Sigils, but once your account reaches the required level (35) you can also have a chance to obtain 5 Stars Sigils! You will also be rewarded with Sigil Experience Item in this game mode.

 

Supplies

 

The “Supplies” Tab is your Daily farming for improving your Modifier. in the Supplies tab you can obtain different rewards based on the content you choose:

 

Coin Commission

• In the Coin Commission Operation, you can spend stamina to get Ain Soph Coin (Golds). Based on your maximum account level, you can also spend double/triple stamina to increase the rewards you get from the chosen stage.

 

Simulation Battle

• In The Simulation Battle Operation, you can spend stamina to get Battle Records (Exp Items). Same as Coin Commission, you can spend more stamina at once to increase the rewards.

 

Factor Collection

• In The Factor Collection Operation, you can spend stamina to get Divine Factor (Skill Enhanced Items). Spend more stamina at once to get more rewards.

 

Depth Prospecting

• In The Depth Prospecting Operation, you can spend stamina to get Crystals (Access Keys Exp Items). Spend more stamina at once to get more rewards.

 

Extreme Extraction

• In The Extreme Extraction Operation, you can spend stamina to get Spirit Extract (Access Keys/Sigils Quantum Leap Items). Spend more stamina at once to get more rewards.

 

Lost Vestiges

• In The Lost Vestiges Operation, you can spend stamina to get Origin Dust (Modifier Quantum Leap Items). Spend more stamina at once to get more rewards.

 

Tutorial

 

Everytime you get a new Modifier, you will unlock the Tutorial for that Character. Tutorial in Aether Gazer is very important because it will explain the best combo for your new Modifier, while also rewarding you with Shifted Star (Crystals) and Golds! Tutorials are also required for unlocking Aether Code Nodes!

 

Modifier & Functor

Modifier

 

The “Modifier” is your playable character in Aether Gazer. There’s different Modifier Classes (Shinou, Yggdrasill, Olympus, Nile and Asterism) and also different types of Modifier (Melee, Ranged, Slow Attacks, Fast Attacks, Energy Based, Divine Grace Based Etc.) . Every Modifier can be enhanced in different ways, unlocking combat potential for increased combat power, damage, heals etc.

 

Stats

• In the “Stats” tab you can both “Transcendence” and “Level Up” your Modifiers. With Transcendence you can use “Character's Personal Intel” and “Ain Soph Coin” to increase their Transcendence level, going to a max of Omega Grade. With Level Up, you can consume Exp Material to increase Modifier Level. Max level of Modifier is increased with Quantum Leap.

 

Skills

• Modifier’s Skill can be increased in the Skills Tab. According to the Modifier Max Level, you can increase all Skills level upgrading them with “Divine Factor” items.

 

Access Keys

• The “Access Keys” are the Weapons of your Modifier. You can increase Access Keys level with Weapon Exp Material, and also can increase Max Level of Weapon with Quantum Leap. You can also attach “Functor” to weapon with special Abilities to increase the power of those weapons

 

Sigil

• The “Sigils” are your Modifier “Equipments”. There’s a lot of different Sigils in the game, and every Sigils increase your modifier Passive Stats (Ex: Max Hp, ATK, Def etc) while also providing Special effect if you equip X number of the same Sigil Set (Ex 3 Philosopher’s Fantasies increase Divine-Grace Type mods damage by 10% and recovery 1 Divine Grace point every second)

 

Aether Code

• The “Aether Code” lets you choose your personal playstyle for any Modifier. You can unlock a max of 9 Slot, everyone with a different passive bonus for your Modifier. Choose the best combo according to your playstyle.

 

Functor

 

The “Functor” is a Special Gear you can attach to a Modifier Weapon. There’s Both Normal Functors (3-4 Stars) and Special “Sleeping” Functor (5 Stars) and they can be attached to any Modifier of the same Type (Ex: Nile Modifier can only use Nile Functor). 

 

When you acquire a new 5 Star Functor, you will acquire the basic “sleeping” version. According to the Functor you get, you can unlock it by choosing the Awakening you want. Once you Awaken a Functor, if the Characters that match the Functor use it (Ex: Awakening Herald Functor to Herald - Dinah, You can  use it with Poseidon, Tidal Song Version) the Awakened Functor will totally change the Modifier skill to something else or improve the damage / healing of those Modifier.

 

Gacha Rates

Mod Index Imprint

 

The “Mod Index Imprint” is the Modifier Banner for Aether Gazer. Based on the Beta Version, pulling on this Banner cost 200 Shifted Star (Crystal) for a single pull and 2000 for a x10. At least an A Grade Modifier will be obtained for every x10. You will also obtain a 3 Star Functor from this Banner. Here’s the rates:

 

Modifier

• S Grade Modifier = 1.60% (2.40% Guaranteed Rate)
• A Grade Modifier = 7.80% (14% Guaranteed Rate)
• B Grade Modifier = 6%

 

Functor

• 3 Stars Modifier = 84.60%

 

Pity

• Everytime you summon with x10 pull, you will receive at least an A Grade Modifier.
• Summoning for 70 Times guaranteed you to acquire an S Grade Modifier. If the S Grade Modifier is not the one on rate Up, the next S Grade Modifier obtained will be. Obtaining an S Grade Modifier before reaching the Pity will reset it.

 

Shining Imprint 

• Everytime you summon a Modifier, you will obtain a Shining Imprint. You will obtain 100 Shining Imprint for an S Grade Modifier, 20 for an A Grade Modifier and 10 for a B Grade modifier / 3 Star Functor. Shining Imprint can be spent on the Shop for rewards such as Exp Material, Quantum Leap Material and Golds.

 

Sparkling Stargate

 

The “Sparkling Stargate” is the Functor Banner for Aether Gazer. Based on the Beta Version, pulling on this Banner cost 200 Shifted Star (Crystal) for a single pull and 2000 for a x10. At least a 4 Star Functor will be obtained for every x10. Before pulling, you must choose one of the 5 different Functor generations. When you obtain a 4 or 5 Stars Functor, it will belong to that Generation Only (Ex: Yggdrasill, Nile etc) Here’s the rates:

 

Functor

• 5 Stars Functor = 1.60% (2.40 Guaranteed Rate)
• 4 Stars Functor = 11.08% (16% Guaranteed Rate)
• 3 Stars Functor = 87.32%

 

Pity

• Everytime you summon with x10 pull, you will receive at least a 4 Stars Functor of the selected Generation.

 

• Summoning for 70 Times guaranteed you to acquire a 5 Stars Functor of the selected Generation. Obtaining a 5 Stars Functor before reaching the Pity will reset it.

 

Shining Imprint 

• Everytime you pull a Functor, you will obtain a Shining Imprint. You will obtain 100 Shining Imprint for an 5 Star Functor, 20 for an 4 Star Functor and 10 for a 3 Stars Functor. Shining Imprint can be spent on the Shop for rewards such as Exp Material, Quantum Leap Material and Golds.
