Years ago I had issues with using legal file sharing, and really buggy performance even on a flagship phone. It seems to all have been addressed over the years, and I'm happy with the performance and speed. A few things like split-bear need work. Also, it would be nice to have better PFSense integration, but it's great. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a 1 click solution to privacy!
Really buggy. It works well... when it works. I hand the unlimited monthly subscription. But every few days, it prompts me to upgrade. So I have to go through the hassle of going into the play store and repurchase it in order for it to recognize my subscription - even though it's listed as current in my Google play subscription list. And of course, there's zero customer support. I'm looking for alternatives of anyone has a suggestion.
I contacted the support team and they responded very quickly. I was having an Issue with my app automatically opening itself and connecting to a VPN server without me tapping on it. I was asked for more information on my issue and given a list of possible solutions. After running through a few possible solutions, I believe my problem has been solved. After enabling Ghost Bear, the app no longer opens itself. I assumed this wouldn't have been the solution, since I am on my home WiFi, but it was.
