Recently my emails stopped sending and would just go straight to my outbox. I cleared my cache, restarted my phone, and even cleared the cache partition on my phone. Still wont send. This has happened once before. The catalyst? Both times it's happened, gmail had performed some kind of update. Can you perform updates without stuff breaking every time? EDIT: I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still sends my emails directly to outbox and fails to send. This has been going on for 2 days.
Just meh. I've had issues come and go. The most current issue is having to delete emails many several times in a row to get them to finally go to trash, which is extremely annoying. Other problems include emails or addresses tagged as spam never going to spam, and emails that were never marked as spam...going straight to the spam folder. User interface is very unituitive, every time I get a handle on it, the icons/menus change or move. Could be better overall, wouldn't recommend.
Generally works well. Probably because I 've avoided adding anymore updates to this app since an unpleasant experience last year. Which resulted in losing my ability to easily unsubscribe or block ANY and ALL annoying, useless ads. Or report them as spam. I can still do this with some messages received, but not the ads. I've tried to use Google's present feature to block useless ads. But a few days later the same ads are back in my mailbox again. Seems as if they want us to see any and all ads .
