Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure is a mobile game for young children (aged 4-8) to educate and empower them with personal safety skills to keep safe. The game has been developed with and for the Bravehearts Foundation, Australia’s leading child protection organisation, solely dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse. It features their mascot, Ditto, along with his five friends Frankie, Watson, Belle, Sam and Georgia.

Developed using the latest research from child protection experts, the game aims to empower children with the knowledge and skills to recognise safe and unsafe feelings, identify warning signs and how to react by saying no if they feel unsafe. Anatomically correct names are used for public and private body parts, eSafety rules are shared when using electronic devices and children are taught how to report if they ever feel unsafe or unsure to an adult on their safety team.

Throughout the adventure, Ditto encounters different scenarios and presents specific decisions for children to make, helping them learn important behaviour changes to keep themselves safe. The game's impact highlights the importance of existing protective factors, such as positive social and peer relationships, self-protective skills, knowledge of child sexual abuse prevention concepts and what to do when faced with an unsafe situation.
