We Can Do Better is a site-specific art installation and augmented reality experience from artist Joe Caslin located at Downhill House in Northern Ireland.
Co-created with ‘The Kindred Collective’, a group of young women born after the Good Friday Agreement of 1998, the installation reflects some of the issues affecting young people in Northern Ireland today and offers a platform for their voices to be heard.
Through a process of collaboration with Joe Caslin and the Nerve Centre, the collective has chosen to focus the project around four key themes, including their lived experience of Northern Ireland and their hopes and morals.
You can use the app to bring Caslin’s epic new artwork to life, listen to stories from the collective, unlock personal messages left by the public and record your own hopeful aspiration for the future.
