App still in 2024 and with the implementation that's supposed to be next gen hardware of ps5, app is still horribly optimized. It is slow its constantly being bugged down by seemingly simple things like viewing an image full screen. Pressing play on a video or even sending messages. Chats are also very slow many times, even sending double messages with good connection. Trying to use VC is a terrible idea. It is slow and buggy. The only thing that works decently is the store and thats a stretch..

This app is great when you want to join parties on your phone. However, I think the PlayStation app needs another update where you can edit your messages as I've had instances where I would try to type up a message and it would get autocorrected and say something completely different and arguments would break out. I think if the app added an edit feature then it'd be a lot easier to see where you made a mistake. Then you could edit that out or edit it where it makes sense.

Was having issues with the store not loading. Went out of the screen, and suddenly the entire app is non-functional. Attempted to uninstall and reinstall the app, and still doesn't work. Great timing since there is a big sale and there are games saved in my wishlist that I can no longer see...
