The six foundations of faith must be known by every mulatto. Amukallaf is one who is mature, wise and has heard that there is no God who has the right to be worshiped except Allah, and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. These six foundations of faith are part of 'Ilmuddin al-Dharury; This means that it includes the main points of religion that must be known by every mulatto.
The foundation of the most basic Islamic creed is Ma'rifatullah (knowing Allah) and Ma'rifatu Rasulih (knowing His messenger). Ma'rifatullah is knowing that Allah exists (All Existence) and there is no beginning for Him.
