كتاب أبي الذي أكره Description
The book My Father Who I Hate is written by Imad Rashad Othman.

As soon as you come across its title on one of the library shelves, you will know that it is a very thorny book that confronts you with the results of a huge amount of family problems and abuses that you meet daily in people you deal with, which helps you understand and analyze what is going on around you, or understand yourself in the first place.

The book “The Father I Hate: Reflections on Recovering from Parental Abuse and Growing Up Trauma” is a book that is shocking from its title. It discusses the problems of children who suffer because of their fathers.
It was written by the Egyptian physician and writer “Imad Rashad Othman.” He is a researcher enrolled in a master’s degree in brain, neuroscience, and psychiatry. He has a book entitled “I Loved and Tomorrow,” which revolves around the concept of harmful and toxic relationships. He also has a single novel entitled “Invasion.”

The writer “Imad Rashad Othman” says in the introduction to his book: My father who I hate

“We are talking about a disease that may afflict the father, making him a wild beast, or the mother, and making her an embodiment of harm. We speak of those who could not provide for the simplest needs; Love!” And he also says: “It is not a call for collective rebellion, as much as it is patting bleeding souls without the world stopping for a moment to say to them: (You have the right to pain … and your pain is real, and that is the way to heal).”

In his book, My Father That I Hate, the writer talks about what he knew as “the cell,” and enumerated in it the types of cells, cruelty, absence, lack of self-confidence because parents reduce what their children do, or children turn into “drama queen” situations because of the mockery of their childish feelings, and there is the family The extremist who treats the daughter as if she is the private part, so he tells the story through the author of the story, and she says: “All my pain grew there around sex..

After presenting the problems in detail, he begins to talk about how to recover from this or recover from pain. Recovery is first by revealing and telling the story, and secondly by crossing through it as an important way out. “The abuses that we are trying to recover from; Her wounds will only be healed by reopening her files in full and re-experiencing all her feelings.”

The stages of recovery from abuse are multiple:

The first stage: denial.
The second stage: anger.
Stage Three and Four: Setting Boundaries and Reclaiming Your Self.
Overcoming stage: It is a starting point towards a new journey, and it is called (reframing abuse).

Then the rituals of renunciation that we must practice, “which is a preparation to serve as a memorial to what happened as a kind of symbolism of grief and transgression.” One of the most important rituals is the “practice of gratitude”, which is a ritual as defined by the writer: “to write every day three things – at least – for which you are grateful in your day.” Finally, he tells us about the beginning of recovery, the first steps to cure shame, and the search for recovery companions, the most important of which is self-love.

From the book The Father I Hate:
Their voices were looking out from behind the prison bars, each cell having its own taste, having the imprint of the crime, but in fact they were all innocent. Their imprisonment was (the crime they did not commit), but they drank it, so it became restricting them and preventing them from realizing themselves.

They did not realize that the doors of the cells were open, and that they could escape. They were so familiar with these cells that they never imagined that it was possible to escape, and that each of them had a spacious life outside his cell.

How did the dungeon make their loved ones?!; Fathers and mothers, uncles and aunts, or teachers, sheikhs, priests, and community figures, made the cells in the name of love or interest.
Until one day one of them decided to dare and push the door a little so that a glimmer of the light of recovery would enter, then he dared more and went out to the corridor there where the pain cells are, then ventured further and shouted at the prisoners that there is light outside the cages, and that life outside the prison is possible and guaranteed and not forbidden to them as they think!
And then the doors slowly opened, and the prisoners went out, to meet there on the way to the road, on the escape journey outside the prison... the soft prison!
And in that corridor, they engraved their stories with recovery and wrote stories of their recovery on the walls, and announced how to escape to everyone whose fates once threw him into such a prison.
And from those inscriptions was this book.

And “Imad Rashad Othman” concludes his book “My Father Who I Hate” after his long journey with abuse, shame and recovery with the conclusion, which is a message to those who are trapped in themselves, you must love yourselves first; The book is a powerful message that we can give it another title, which is self-love, or self-love, because loving yourself first is the solution to all your problems towards life.

Fun reading with my dad's book that I hate.
