There are 3 international institutions that classify cat breeds, namely the CFA Cat Lovers Association, which recognizes the existence of 44 breeds, while the International Cat Association TICA, which recognizes 58 species, and finally the International Cat Federation FIFe, which recognizes the existence of only 43 breeds
