Denarie Bautista Taylor known professionally as Bella Poarch was born on February 8, 1997 in the Philippines to Filipino parents. Bella Poarch was raised by her grandmother in the slums until the age of three and then adopted. Her adoptive father is an American who served in the US military and her adoptive mother is Filipino.

His adoptive parents met in Saudi Arabia where his adoptive father was stationed, before settling in the Philippines. Bella Poarch had many responsibilities on the farm, even from the age of seven. Bella Poarch said that her adopted sister did not get the same treatment as herself.

Bella Poarch said that her father was verbally and physically abusive, while her mother was not involved. Her family (except for her two older sisters who still live in the Philippines) moved to San Francisco to live with her aunt for a few months, before moving to Texas when Bella Poarch was 13 because of her father's need for bypass surgery.
