Tailed Demon Slayer Tips and Tricks for Faster Progress

2022-02-24

CookApps created Tailed Demon Slayer, an Action RPG game. This is a passive RPG in the vein of Nonstop Knight, in which an anthropomorphic fox battles against swarms of rotten fiends with flare and flair in every move. Bestia is going through a rough patch right now. The Lich King has returned from the dead to lead an army of shadows and zombies in an attempt to seize the kingdom for himself. Lives have been lost, allies have deserted, and in a nation teeming with monsters, does hope still dare to bloom? You, the Tailed Demon Slayer, are the very hope that Bestia requires – you, a teenage fox, under the guidance of a clever hamster mentor.

This article will discuss tips and tricks for the Tailed Demon Slayer mobile game. These tips and pointers will help you understand the basic gameplay and let you progress faster in the game. So, without further ado, let's begin.

Tailed Demon Slayer Mobile Game

IDLE RPG – Auto Mode will give you maximum efficiency

Tailed Demon Slayer is an Idle RPG. That means you are not required to play the game all the time to progress. Idle games are those that are frequently played by themselves. The player invests in little effort to keep playing, but that doesn't mean there aren't minor tactics here and there to help them advance.

In Tailed Demon Slayer, you may choose to play the game manually or automatically. Whereas manual play allows you to avoid telegraphed strikes (which hit harder than normal), Auto mode causes the game to push your skill buttons faster than you could. If you think about it, there won't be anything to dodge if all of your opponents are dead.

You may also check Fox's stats, equipment, skills, and more in Auto mode, letting you upgrade them as they continue to slaughter the zombie hordes. You'll be able to focus on building them up faster than when you're manually commanding them in battle. Not to mention that switching your game to Auto mode will allow you to perform various activities outside of it. This will be covered in greater detail in another item on this list.

Weapons – use a maximum of 2 weapons for the Campaign mode

Tailed Demon Slayer offers an intriguing feature that allows users to try out different fighting styles. This would be accomplished through the use of Fox's four distinct weapons:

  • Greatsword – The Fox wields a gigantic weapon with incredible raw damage and attack power. The striking radius of this weapon is also fairly wide, making it easier to take down adversaries in large groups.
  • Bow – A long-ranged weapon with rapid firing. The bow allows the Fox to kill foes from a distance and effectively takes out adversaries one at a time.
  • Daggers – Despite their tiny length, these twin swords provide the Fox with devastating speed and crippling assaults. It envelops the adversary in a noxious vapor, causing them to absorb extra damage from the Fox.
  • Staff – The staff is a formidable weapon that grants the fox control over the elements and a specialty in debuffs. Enemies might be slaughtered in droves with ice, fire, and fierce storms.

The Fox may carry two weapons simultaneously, swapping back and forth. You will be instructed to link up two weapons when you first start the game. What you select is totally up to you, but we strongly advise sticking to only two of them and prioritizing those rather than upgrading all of them.

The reasoning for this is that limiting yourself to two weapons will allow you to proceed through the game considerably faster and easily defeat any boss you come across. The Wave Bosses are exceptionally difficult to defeat since defeating them sends you back five stages. Consistently using two weapons will allow you to make steady progress while increasing your chances of defeating each Wave Boss. While it would be nice to enhance all weapons, consider this an eventual aim.

Aside from having a simpler time upgrading two weapons rather than four, earning Weapon Proficiency is not as simple as it appears. Changing out a pair totally to enhance another is a headache. You'll have to use the new weapons for an identical amount of time as you used your initial pair, which will stymie your progress throughout the game. As a result, your Fox will remain poor overall. Aside from using just two weapons at a time, there are other methods to improve your Fox.

Tailed Demon Slayer Gameplay

Maintain Fox's training, as well as their equipment and fairies

In most RPGs, leveling up is the most effective way to strengthen your character. Gaining levels improve stats, give the character access to more powerful skills, and give the player the strength to face larger, more powerful adversaries. Most of the time, leveling up is the most significant component of an RPG, but your character's actual strength rests in how they are created. You won't progress to some sections until your character demonstrates their genuine power. This is especially true with Tailed Demon Slayer.

It's as simple as hitting the Training button to make your Fox stronger. Your Fox has three stats here:

  • Attack – This influences Fox's total damage.
  • Health – This number represents Fox's health. The greater the number, the less likely they will perish in an accident.
  • Health Recovery - The speed with which the Fox heals from their injuries. Fox's health will gradually restore after a few seconds of not taking damage.

While the three parameters may appear to be simple but important all around, we recommend that you prioritize Attack because killing enemies is what will keep you moving forward. As previously stated, your Fox will not be harmed if the enemies are killed.

Leveling up these factors takes gold, but other Fox items provide them with incredible powers. For example, the Fox has certain equipment slots where they can wield your weapons of choice and wear formidable armor.

These passively boost Fox's stats. If you want to upgrade a piece of equipment, just merge their copies by hitting the Upgrade button. If you have many duplicates, hitting the Upgrade All at Once button will combine them all.

The Fox can also hold magical relics (though we're not sure what's so magical about a Worm-Eaten Apple). These relics have unique benefits that develop as you level them up. Assume you have a Lich King's Letter. This item boosts your Attack and Crit Chance by enhancing it with Relic Pieces. There are additional relics that can stack effects with it that are comparable.

Fairies, who are little but tenacious companions, help the Fox even more. These floating eidolons summon spells that can enhance or hurt Fox's opponents. If they are the latter, their strength is normally derived from a proportion of Fox's current Attack stat. They behave differently, so choose Fairies that you believe will fit your playing style. The Fairies, like equipment, may be enhanced by combining duplicates. Aside from giving the fox boosts and extra talents, having a team of Fairies that coordinate with each other is fantastic.

Choosing Masteries

When you access Fox's menu, you will notice the Masteries button in the center. A Mastery is an upgradeable attribute that significantly boosts your Fox's fighting abilities. It can range from raising money earned by foes to decreasing skill cooldowns, from doing more damage to boss monsters to having lifesteal with every strike, and more. The Masteries area is jam-packed with new methods to strengthen your Fox.

Tailed Demon Slayer Masteries

There are four types of masteries:

  • Talent category focuses on Fox's overall performance. This tree not only improves Fox's attacking and defensive stats, but also increases the amount of money he can make.
  • The Skill tree contains masteries that increase the potency of Fox's talents. They include giving the Fox shorter skill cooldowns, increased skill damage, evasion while using abilities, and even lifesteal while using skills. They also affect Weapon Swap cooldowns.
  • The Battle tree resembles the Talent tree. The Masteries in this area is centered on ensuring your Fox's survival and destroying the adversary as quickly as possible. They boost Fox's damage against both normal and boss foes while also providing additional benefits such as damage reduction and boosts after each normal strike.
  • Finally, there is the Assist tree. The Masteries here increase the fox's distance each time it does a Return or a Rush. Among changes is an increase in the speed with which the fox travels while you leave the game offline and the ability to skip past stages once you've returned.

It is critical to select the Masteries you require. For starters, consider how you want your Fox to develop. Start by deciding which trees you wish to plant initially. We choose to concentrate on Talent, Battle, and Skill in our case. Our Fox will travel far in battle, but they will be at a very low level when they return. Choose whatever Masteries work best for you and empower your Fox.

The Fox may be rather powerful in terms of stats. However, did you know that Fox's power is partly derived from the stuff they collect? Let us explain how.

Run Dungeons to Get More Loot

Every gamer wants to acquire everything like a medieval hoarder or enjoys having alternatives. Regardless of the cause, loot is common and can be obtained as a reward for killing monsters, completing quests, defeating bosses, and other activities. However, dungeons are the most renowned source of good loot in an RPG. In Tailed Demon Slayer, this is the case.

Tailed Demon Slayer's Dungeon function allows you to enter four distinct dungeons that are designated with what the foes drop. These Dungeons have 15 various difficulties and are timed occasions in which the Fox must complete an objective to clear it:

  • Gold Dungeon – The Fox's goal here is to destroy a cult of gold-worshipping sloths who walk around mindlessly. They won't assault, but they also won't back down. Their prancing comes to an end only when they are murdered. This dungeon rewards large quantities of gold and will be completed when the Fox has collected up to the specified maximum.
  • Gemstone Dungeon – The objective of this Dungeon is to protect the big Gemstone in the center of the map from swarms of creatures. The Fox returns home with Gemstones after successfully guarding it against ten waves. Regardless, if a major Gemstone is damaged, the run may be cut short. If this occurs, the Fox receives nothing, and the endeavor to run the Dungeon is futile.
  • Equipment Dungeon – This Dungeon is unusual because there is no time restriction. Nonetheless, the issue here is that Fox is up against a formidable boss who is stockpiling all of the equipment. Before entering this Dungeon, we strongly recommend that you use the Four-Leaf Clover bonuses (which we will discuss soon). It is here that the Fox may receive fresh equipment.
  • Equipment Scroll Dungeon – This last Dungeon is the largest yet. The Fox must scale a tower populated with bosses and their zombie minions. This game aims to fill up a kill meter before the timer runs out. Like the Equipment Dungeon, this one necessitates much preparation, but with a twist. If the Fox is presently wielding any of the indicated weapons, each floor will benefit them. Taking on a floor with no buffs will be extremely challenging. This Dungeon drops Equipment Scrolls, which may be used to level up Fox's gear.

After you've used up all of your efforts, the Dungeons will give you one more via an advertisement. Attempting will put your chosen Dungeon on cooldown, rendering it inaccessible for a few hours. Consider it a means for you to put your Fox's strength to the test. If your Fox fails, it means it still has room to grow.

Tailed Demon Slayer Level Up

Gemstones should be spent wisely

As in most online games nowadays, the Premium currency is required for the creators to earn. The majority of them can be purchased with cash, although they may be acquired through playing in other games. Tailed Demon Slayer awards Gemstones to players for completing Daily and Weekly Tasks, the previously mentioned Gemstone Dungeon, and other activities. It doesn't matter how you obtain them; what matters is how you spend them.

Sure, Gemstones may be used in more than one method, such as speeding up the opening of a Fairy Cage, but we highly advise you to invest these valuable resources elsewhere. We recommend spending them on art supplies as well as new Fairy Cages. Even if you don't receive much, your mileage points (a bar that fills up with each draw) will ultimately get you a top-tier item. Another excellent method to put your Gemstones to good use is to purchase keys for Monster Card boxes.

Ads are an important source of additional rewards

Ads in Tailed Demon Slayer are more likely to offer you strength than hamper your success. Spend a few seconds (or minutes) to strengthen the Fox. The advertisements in this game might provide you with a few intriguing options:

  • Shorten the time it takes for the Fairy Cage to open.
  • More Dungeon attempts are boosted by the Four-Leaf Clover.
  • Login Bonus for AFK

While seeing advertisements all the time might be frustrating, keep in mind that after you're done, you'll be able to play the game ad-free for a long period. Yes, it's a nasty pill to take, but slogging through commercials for the express purpose of strengthening your Fox is worth every minute of it. Your Fox will thank you after they have demolished that one boss who has been impeding them the entire time.

Given that this is an idle game, you won't have to watch a lot of advertising at once. You'll be gone much of the time, strengthening your Fox, making Returns, and so forth. The advertising in Tailed Demon Slayer isn't overly invasive, but they're extremely handy if you can get beyond their legendary bad reputation.
