Heroes War: Counterattack is a new addition to the turn-based RPG game genre. The game has everything you can wish for in a turn-based role-playing game and much more.

The developers at Com2uS have added mercenary as your characters, which you can obtain through contract, diamonds, or crystals. You can also make in-game purchases, but you can't buy any specific Mercenary or Equipment with real money.

The game does follow the gacha system but not completely. There are only a few mercenaries and equipment which need rerolling, but other than that, you don't need to use the gacha system. Farm Diamonds, Crystals to obtain the mercenary you want in your time to dominate your opponents.

This guide is a Selective Draw addition, meaning you will be gaining knowledge about what you really need from Selective Draw and how you can make it useful in your team in the early game. The guide also contains crucial tips and tricks regarding the Selective Draw SSR card. Let's dive right into the guide and take a look at Selective Draw.

Selective Draw:

Selective Draw is a 100% free-to-play in-game feature offered by the developers, and the best part about this feature is that it allows you to 30x Free Summons. You read it right; you can do 30x Summons for free in Heroes War: Counterattack.

With those 30x Summons, you can win Character Cards, Character Skill Cards, etc. All these cards will be SSR or SR, meaning high-rarity card. So, it's a nice way to boost your game early on, but the question is what to look for or what you need to aim to make a huge impact on your game.

In those 30x Summons, you are guaranteed to get at least 1 SSR and 2 SR cards, but the sad part is that you can only take home one SSR card. So, the real question pops in now what Card is the most beneficial and overpowers other cards in Heroes War: Counterattack and why? Before answering that, let's take a look at the Cards.

Cards:

There are two types of cards available in the game:

Skill Cards:

Skill Cards are the kind of cards that is actually going to provide a good stat boost to the owner. It will also provide a boost to the skill sets of the owner. Skill Cards are pretty specific when it comes to equipping one. Meaning your character can only equip the card if its name is on the card.

If you have the SSR Skill card, then your character/mercenary will be able to deal bonus damage to enemies. Your character/mercenary won't be able to tap into bonus damage if you don't have the SSR cards. Skill Card also provides a passive skill effect which increases your stats or gives you an extra buff on the battlefield, which really turns the battle's outcome in your favor.

Rage Cards:

Rage Cards are those cards that allow the mercenary to use his or her rage skill. In short, it is the ultimate move/skill of the certain mercenary which is going to deal with some amazing damage to the opponent or provide some extremely good buff to the allies on the battlefield. Rage Card also provides a stat boost to the owner, meaning it will increase the Mercenary's power.

Unlike Skills Card, Rage Card can be equipped by any character/mercenary in the game, meaning it's not bound to just one mercenary. You can use it on any mercenary you want, but the boost and special ultimate skill will be the same.

What card to pick in Heroes War: Counterattack and why?

The best card to pick and focus on is the Skill Card, but as mentioned above, you can only pick one SSR Skill card. The reason to pick Skill Card over Rage Card is that Rage Card can be equipped by any mercenary out there in the game, but the Skill Card is pretty specific, and this is the card that is actually going to give you a unique boost which will make your performance much better in the battlefield.

Now to the part, you all must be waiting for "What Skill card to Pick?" The particular Skill Card that you are supposed to pick and aim for is in the Contract. Go to your contract and check out the mercenary and what they bring to the table. But keep in mind, having SSR Skill Card isn't the only thing you will need to win the battles; you also need to have the particular Mercenary for that SSR Skill Card.

Kairos:

In Contract, you only need to look for the mercenaries you unlock in the early game. The character should also have a high rating if it's supposed to be good—for example, Kairos. Kairos has a rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars, which means this specific character is quite good, and the best part is it's cheap.

You only need to farm 1200 Diamonds to get this character in the game. Farming 1200 Diamonds in Heroes War: Counterattack is quite easy if you are a new player.

However, it is not recommended to buy any character before getting the card from the Selective Draw. You can look for Kairos SSR Skill Card and only buy it when you have his card because having a card of a mercenary you don't own is nothing, just a waste of Selective Draws.

The reason to pick Kairos are:

  • It costs 1200, which is quite cheap and easy to obtain as a new player.

  • A 4.9 rating out of 5 is extremely powerful in the game.

  • Kairos is a game-changer for all players in Heroes War: Counterattack, meaning it will help you in the early and late game, so your investment is safe and secure.

  • Kairos is so powerful that it will help you dominate your opponents, whether it be the PvP or the PvE mode.

SSR Kairos and his Skill Card:

Everything basic about Kairos is mentioned above but let's take an in-depth look at what you will get if you aim for his Skill Card. So, if you have the SSR Skill Card of Kairos, then you will get the SSR Skill Promotion Trait passive skill for each skill, and the bonus will be according to each skill of Kairos.

  • In Poisonous Skill, the passive SSR skill boost will increase your attacks' distance, meaning it's a boost in your attack range.

  • In Shadow Step Skill, the passive skill will increase the damage by 20%/30%/40% when attacking a poisoned enemy.

  • In Darkness Attack Skill, SSR Skill Promotion Trait will deal bonus damage to a single target by 5-15% of the current hp.

Bonus Tip:

Selective Draw SSR Card is a nice and unique opportunity for all F2P and P2P players to obtain the Skill Card they want for free and start making a faster progression. Imagine having Tarak and Tarak's Exclusive Equipment along with a powerful Mercenary's Skill card.

The possibilities are unlimited, meaning you can dominate a lot of high-level pay to win players. Believe it or not, but Tarak is really a game-changer and having him, his legendary equipment, and let's say Skill Card of Kairos or Bannon is nothing more than having the upper hand on most players.

Conclusion:

This is all the information you will ever going to need regarding Selective Draw. So, make a wise choice and select the hero and his SSR Skill Card you are most comfortable with.

Kairos is a fine example of an SSR Mercenary and SSR Skill Card, but you can pick any SSR character/mercenary and SSR Skill Card of your liking. But make sure to understand the character and how it's going to impact your game.

It is not a wise choice to go for the SSR Skill Card of a character you don't own, and the reason for that is you will be stuck in your early game, and you won't have any other option except deleting your account and start over.
