What is Code Geass: Lost Stories?

Code Geass: Lost Stories is a new Tower Defense RPG Gacha Game. This game follows the classic Tower Defence strategic battle system, where you have a plethora of Pilots and Gundams and you need to place them precisely to achieve victory. There’s 6 different Classes of Pilot (Striker, Guardian, Engineer, Executioner, Tactician & Specialist) and 2 classes of Gundam (Short & Long Range). Matching the right combination of Pilots and Gundams is the key to achieve victory! The game offers a very different kind of content. At the start you will unlock the Main Story mode, letting you complete the Tutorial, unlocking Story Chapter and Battle. Next you have Daily Quests and Expeditions, both rewarding you with items that will improve your Characters and Gundams and also rewarding you with Special Currency to spend in the game Shop. Later in the game you will also unlock “Extra Stories”, “Challenge”, PvP content such as “Arena” and Order! The game will also offer time limited Events and new Pilots/Gundams while time passes! If you are a fan of Code Geass anime, or simply love tower defense with big Robots, this new game is what you were waiting for!

Game Review

Main Story

Main Story

The “Main Story” in Code Geass Lost Stories let you explore the mix of the new plot and the anime original series. During the Main Story you can choose between “Story” that only lets you watch episodes and rewards you with Sakuradite (Gems) or play “Battle”. Only the Battle content consumes Stamina. To unlock further Story content you will need to complete battle stages. Completing Battles rewards you with Gold, Exp Items and Sakuradite based on the Quest Rank you achieve. If you complete a Battle Stage with S Rank, you can use Skip Ticket to Sweep the battle for immediate rewards.

Daily Quest

Daily Quest

The “Daily Quest” in Code Geass Lost Stories lets you farm daily to get Gold and Exp items, Awaken Materials and Remodel Materials. Each group (Coin/Exp, Awaken, Remodel) can be cleared up to 3 times per day. The group with double drop rate changes every day of the week.

Daily Quest

  • Coin / Exp Items = Reward player with a large amount of Geass Coins and Pilot Enhancement Materials.

  • Awakening Items = Provide items necessary for Awakening Pilots. Quest is separated by the Pilot’s Type allowing you to focus on what item you need.

  • Remodeling Items = Provide items necessary for remodeling KMFs. Quests are separated by KMF type, allowing you to focus on acquiring the items you need.

Double Drop Rewards:

  • Monday = Engineer & Specialist Awakening Quests.

  • Tuesday = Striker & Executioner  Awakening Quests.

  • Wednesday = Guardian & Tactician Awakening Quests.

  • Thursday = KMF (Short-Range) Remodeling Quests.

  • Friday = KMF (Long-Range) Remodeling Quests.

  • Weekends = Geass Coin Quests & Pilot Exp Quests.

You can also use “Drop Radar” to double the rewards you get  from any stage.

Expedition

Expedition

The “Expedition” game content lets you complete, once per day, an adventure that will reward you with a different amount of Expedition Medal, Skip Tickets and Pilot Materials based on the difficulty of the stage you choose. After you select the initial difficulty (Normal, Hard or Expert) you need to complete the stages. Once a pilot or KMF falls in combat, they can no longer be used in your team, so be careful and try to utilize your full force to complete expeditions. Expedition quests do not consume stamina and do not include rewards like Rank or Mission Completion rewards. Instead, Expedition Medals are awarded upon completion of each stage. You can also decide to Skip an entire area that you have cleared up to the final stage when re-deploying there. Upon Skipping, you will still receive all the rewards for each stage.

Order

The “Order” content is more likely a classic Guild Feature. By joining an Order, you can do things like chat with other Knights, request items and take Knights Mission. You can also assume the position of Leader by forming your own Order. Once you have joined an Order, you will obtain special functions:

Salute

  • You can use the “Salute” function to get free Stamina. You can also obtain Geass Coins if another Knight Salute you.

Items Request

  • By requesting items, other Knights may give you the items. Also by gifting items to other Knights, you can earn Geass Coins.

Special Skills

  • Knight Skill can increase the limit on item requests and activate other effects beneficial to all the Knights in the Order.

Missions

  • Knight Mission can be taken on together by all Knights in the Order. Completing these Missions will grant mission points and allow Knights to activate Knight Skills.

Characters & KMF Guide

Characters

Characters

The “Characters” in Code Geass: Lost Stories are called Pilots. Each Pilot in the game has a different Type, Attack Range and Skills. Let’s see the difference between pilots and how to make them stronger:

Pilot Type

  • Striker = Low Placement Cost. Pilot Skills increase Energy.

  • Guardian = High HP, DEF and can block many enemies.

  • Engineer = Heals allies within range.

  • Executioner = High ATK rate for both Short and Long ranges.

  • Tactician = Activates Skill when placed. Can be placed again quickly.

  • Specialist = Uses Unique Abilities.

ATK Rate

  • Some Pilots are better at operating at Short-Range, while others at Long Range. Pair a Pilot with the same preferred range KMF for better results.

Enhance

  • Stat can be enhanced by consuming pilot enhancement materials to give a pilot EXP and raise their pilot level. Additionally, by reaching certain levels, additional benefits such as strengthening or unlocking skill and increased bonus values can also be obtained.

Awakening

  • Pilots can be awakened by consuming Secret Gems, Badges and Geass Coins. Awakening may also enhance stats that cannot be increased by simply leveling up. Secret Gems and Badges can be obtained from Daily Quest, the Expedition Medal Shop and the Knight Medal Shop.

Limit Break

  • Pilots can perform a Limit Break by consuming a variety of Lockets and Geass Coins. Limit breaks raise a pilot’s maximum level value. Character-specific Lockets are obtained when you acquire a pilot already in your possession.

KMF

KMF

The “Knightmare Frame” (KMF) are the Vehicles or your Pilot, and also their Weapon. Same as your Pilots, KMF have various Types, Weapons and Attack Range. They also need to be leveled up and improved. Let’s see how to make KMF stronger:

Remodel

  • Remodel a KMF to upgrade its stats.

Unlock Weapon

  • Use this feature to unlock new weapons for your KMF. Your KMF ATK Type and Range depend on which weapon it uses.

Move Type

  • KMF has either Ground or Floating Move Type. While Ground Type can be only placed in normal spots, Floating Types can be repositioned easily by spending Deployment points and also being placed in certain special areas.

ATK Type

  • Same as Pilots, KMF have Short-Range or Long-Range.
