For example, your heroes have different skills like AOE, healing, and crowd control abilities in the game. If your team is taking heavy damage, you have to choose healing or crowd control abilities to save them, or you have to choose the damage type ability to end the match quickly.

 

Factions of Ark Legends

 

During your adventure in the old ruins, you will meet a lot of heroes. The Shield Alliance, the Glacial Empire, Boil Blood, the Sacred Forest, the Luminaid Temple, and the Umbra Covenant are all groups that these heroes belong to. 

 

These Factions will counter one another: Shield Alliance > Glacial Empire > Boil Blood > Sacred Forest > Shield Alliance. Luminaire Temple and Umbra Covenant oppose each other and do not have counter relations with the other factions.

 

 

Ark Legends Classes

 

You can use many heroes on your adventures, and they all belong to a class in addition to the factions. Each class has a special skill that can help you beat enemies.

 

Mage Class 

 

Mages mostly focus on dealing damage to a large area. They have a chance to trigger the Combo of Assassin and Marksman heroes, and they can use crowd control effects or debuffs like ATK SPD Reduction to make your team take much less damage.

 

Marksman Class

 

They are heroes who deal damage to a single target. They have a chance of triggering the Combo of Defender and Warrior. They deal damage from a distance, relying on speed, and can apply buffs or debuffs.

 

Assassin Class

 

They are a type of hero that does damage to enemies in the back row and does a lot of damage in a short amount of time. They have a high ATK and have a chance of starting a Combo of Fighter and Support heroes. It can often be a big threat to the enemy's main damage dealer, breaking their formation and giving the allies an advantage.

 

Defender Class

 

 

They have a lot of defense and can take a lot of damage, so they are usually put in the front line and have a chance of triggering a Combo of Marksman and Support heroes. Most of the time, Defenders' skills give their allies more Defense or Shield. It can take damage from powerful enemies, making it easier for the team to stay alive.

 

Warrior Class

 

They have a good balance between how well they hurt and how well they defend. They can help allies in the back row who deal damage. It may cause the Combo of Assassin and Mage heroes to be used. Support skills can give buffs to allies, such as healing, immunity, and more attack power. They can also put effects on enemies that hurt them, such as "Crushed," "Vulnerable," and "Max HP Decreased."

When you clear certain main quests, the task system will be activated. These tasks will be refreshed by day, week, or month. You can get primary resources from these tasks, such as Energy, Diamonds,  Iron Cores, and All-purpose Tokens.

 

 

When you feel it's hard to go forward, it's time to upgrade your heroes. The growth system includes a hero upgrade and a sigil system. Use XP Potions to increase heroes' power, which can be obtained from Potion Lab.

 

Sigil can be obtained in the Lost Sector. Equipping Sigil sets can also provide extra attributes to the heroes. The sets are divided into two-piece sets and four-piece sets. Since the effects of a 2-piece set can only trigger once, it's better to equip a 2-piece set and a 4-piece set together. The Gold required for a hero upgrade can be obtained from Golden Vale. You can challenge the boss twice a day.

 

Forbidden Sector

 

This is where you can get certain important things.

 

• The Gold Vale has stages where you can farm gold.

• Stages where you can farm XP potions called the Potion Institute.

 

The Shadowkeep 

 

Here is where you can get Spinels that are good for training heroes of a certain class. As you move through the stages, doing that will get quite hard.

• Marksman Trial: Stages that give Spinels: Marksman.

• Mage Trial: Stages that give Spinels: Mage.

• Support Trial: Stages that give Spinels: Support.

Elemental Valley

 

These are the places where you can get cores.

 

• Frost Lord: This is the boss who gives Cores of Slot 1.

• Pyro Lord: This is the boss who gives Cores of Slot 2.

• Gale Lord: This is the boss who gives Cores of Slot 3. 

• Storm Lord: This is the boss who gives Cores of Slot 4.

 

Type of Resources You Will Find in Ark Legends

 

Energy, Gold, and Diamond, the game's three most important resources, are all displayed at the very top of the user interface.

 

• Energy: Most game modes require Energy, which refills on its own over time. However, after the limit is reached, Energy no longer replenishes. In addition to purchasing it with Diamonds, Energy can be acquired by completing Tasks, earning Achievements, and participating in in-game events.
