Zenyor Description
The Zenyor app is a mobile health app that aims to upcycle Android phones and tablets into an at-home kiosk with a simplified screen interface. Its uses include communication with loved ones who are ageing or have a cognitive impairment, parental screen control for kids/teens, and multi-device management for care/religious/university organizations. The app includes remote control and configuration capabilities for caregiver controls of the remote device, such as the Skype App for drop-in calls, getting device data, setting default images, or uploading your own images, and video call controls. The app aims to make life easier for caregivers and aging adults, provide an outlet from isolation, and be a platform for health connections.
Features:
• Kiosk mode: The device can be completely locked down and managed by passwords. Necessary apps can be selected as accessible from the web app.
• Easy video calling system with flexible configurations, which can be initiated easily with just a tap on pictures that are set from the web app. Caregivers can control the call from the web app.
• Remote video call control of third-party apps from the web app (toggling camera, microphone, ending calls, etc.).
• Scheduling calls.
• Assigning apps to different image buttons that have meaningful meaning for the assigned app.
• Having configurable groups for showing and making certain apps accessible on the home screen for a certain period of time, which can be configured from the web app.
• Having scheduled do not disturb (DND) mode for the device.
Important Notes:
• Zenyor collects the installed applications to make them available for the admin to create scheduled groups of accessible apps.
• Zenyor requires access to files to provide device management features such as remotely pushing a file.
• Zenyor uses Accessibility APIs to prevent users from using applications that are not allowed for them when the device is managed by caregivers/parents. It also helps control video calls on third-party apps like toggling the camera, microphone and ending calls for those who are not able to do that. However, this permission is not used to capture/transmit screen data at any time. For any questions on how we use this permission, please reach out to our support team.
