Background
UTBK-SNBT 2023 can be attended by students graduating in 2021, 2022, and 2023 from secondary education (SMA/MA/SMK and equivalent), as well as graduates of Package C in 2021, 2022, and 2023 with a maximum age of 25 years (as of 1 July 2023 ). Participation in UTBK is the main requirement for participating in the Test-Based National Selection at Academic PTN, Vocational PTN, and State Islamic Religious College (PTKIN).
Purpose of UTBK-SNBT
predict prospective students who are able to complete their studies at tertiary institutions well and on time; And
provide opportunities for prospective students to take the test flexibly, namely choosing the location and time of the test.
provide opportunities for prospective students to choose Academic PTN, Vocational PTN, and PTKIN across regions; And
Select prospective students based on UTBK results and/or other criteria determined by the Academic PTN, Vocational PTN, and PTKIN
General requirements
SNBT participants are only allowed to take part in UTBK once
The UTBK results are only for registering for the 2023 SNBT registration.
SNBT 2023 is carried out based on the UTBK results and can be supplemented with other criteria in accordance with the provisions of the Academic PTN, Vocational PTN, or PTKIN concerned
Participant Requirements
Have an SNPMB Account.
Indonesian citizens (WNI) who have a National Identity Number (NIK).
SMA/MA/SMK/equivalent students, prospective graduates in 2023 must have a Class 12 SMA/MA/SMK Student Certificate or Package C students in 2023 with a maximum age of 25 years (as of 1 July 2023).
Notes:
Class 12 Student Certificate accompanied by:
• recent photo (in color)
• school stamp/stamp
• Principal's signature
Students graduating from SMA/MA/SMK/equivalent in 2021 and 2022 or graduating from Package C in 2021 and 2022 must have a diploma with a maximum age of 25 years (as of 1 July 2023). For high school graduates of the equivalent from abroad, they must have an equivalent diploma.
Did not pass the SNBP 2023 or SNMPTN pathways in 2021 or 2022.
Have adequate health so as not to interfere with the smooth study process.
For participants who choose the Arts and Sports study program, they must upload a portfolio.
Blind participants must upload a Blind Statement Letter
The results of the 2023 UTBK are only valid for taking part in the SNBT and accepting PTN 2023
UTBK material
Scholastic Potential Test (TPS)
TPS measures Cognitive Ability which is considered important for success in formal schools, especially higher education. In the TPS that will be tested are General Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Ability, General Knowledge and Understanding, and Ability to Understand Reading and Writing. Quantitative abilities will include Knowledge and Mastery of Basic Mathematics.
Literacy in Indonesian and English
Measuring the ability to understand, use, evaluate, reflect on various types of texts to solve problems and develop individual capacities as citizens of Indonesia and citizens of the world so that they can contribute productively to society.
Mathematical Reasoning
Measuring the ability to think using mathematical concepts, procedures, facts, and tools to solve everyday problems in various types of contexts that are relevant to individuals as citizens of Indonesia and citizens of the world.
