The MindBreaker: Code Breaking Description
Welcome to The MindBreaker: Code Breaking
The goal of this game is to break the code, that is, to guess the secret combination represented by colored pegs. A peg can be placed by drag and drop to the desired position or by tap which will place it to the leftmost free position.
A feedback is provided for each attempt as a sequence of small black, white and empty pegs on the right-hand side.
Black peg stands for correct color in the correct position.
White peg stands for correct color in the wrong position.
Caution: The order of small black and white pegs do not match the order of pegs in your attempt!
In our Practice Mode, there is 40 games at the moment. We plan to add more in future.
Each practice game comes with several attempts already there. Continue playing until you find the secret combination. Try to solve the game in just one additional step - you have sufficient information!
Standard game comes in many flavors! In this mode, the game is very customizable.
You can choose combination size (secret code length), number of available colors and whether colors can repeat. Just tap the settings icon in the top right corner of the screen and customize your game. With more colors and more long secret code, game can be very challenging :)
This app is suitable for color blind people.
If you have trouble distinguishing colors (or you just prefer to think in the form of numbers instead colors), don't worry - just enable showing numbers on pegs in the settings dialog and enjoy the game!
If you need a challenge, hard mode is the best choice for you!
You have seven attempts to break the code of four pegs out of six colors with repetitions. Try to solve the game in five attempts!
Statistics is provided for hard mode - you can see your wins to losses ratio, how many times you won the game in five, six or seven attempts. Also, you can see how fast you are - best, average and total times are in statistics page.
Enjoy the game :)
