Super Fun Billards
For a long time,I hope to find a pool table computer game which can simulate the friction, gravity and real coefficient of restitution etc. I did find a lot of pool table computer games, but none of them can make me satisfied. I decided to write my own pool table game.
Bullet is a physics engine which simulates collision detection, soft and rigid body dynamics. It has been used in video games as well as for visual effects in movies. I decided to use bullet as my physics engine.
LibGDX is a cross platform tool so I can make the pool table game for Windows, Linux, OS X, HTML, Android and iOS (running Java code in RoboVM). I decided to use LibGDX as my developing platform.
I need to make the user interface look beautiful but I do not have a lot of time to work on it. Then I found the scene2d.ui is very helpful, so I used the scene2d table to design my interface.
It took me a few weeks to code this Super Fun Billards game. It looks so real that all my friends and relatives like it. I wish you will like it and enjoy it.
