I've tried way too many times to get this vacuum attached to my WiFi. During the setup, I am connected to the unit with my smart phone, but it always times out on the second step while transferring information to the device. After a dozen tries it made it past the second step. Final step is to connect the device to the network. Either the vacuum times out and leaves setup mode, or the app times out. I have 2.4 and 5G combo. Tried both. Verified password. App just sucks!

Vacuum really good and would highly recommend if you are patient enough with the App which is not so good. The features are great (change suction power, add timer, split maps, area sweeping and more but the execution on the App quite poor. Very laggy and unresponsive at times. Map has wiped on the occasion too. Sort the App and its a brilliant vacuum.

Splitting and merging rooms is unreliable. Drawing the line is nearly impossible. The Shellbot sweeps and vacuums very well. On large carpeted floors the dust box needs to be emptied mid cycle. The App lets it down the Developer need to fix the bugs in the app.
