ScreenArduino Description
There are many screens for Arduino from the simplest of two segments to the most sophisticated TFT that include touch and color pixels. all this is already in your mobile. This application allows you to use your mobile screen as an Arduino screen with which you can draw simple elements such as rectangles, lines, circles, text, even buttons that react to touch.
There are many screens for Arduino from the simplest of two segments to the most outstanding TFT that include touch and color pixels. All this is already on your mobile. This application allows you to use your mobile screen as an Arduino screen with which you can draw simple elements such as rectangles, lines, circles, text, even buttons that react to touch.
Everything is Possible through a library developed for Arduino that sends the data to Android to be drawn via serial through the hc-05/06 modules. You will be able to draw elements that do not require refresh less than 1000ms without problems, although it is also possible to draw with refresh of up to 100ms by increasing the baud rate in the hc05/06, and in the library.
Everything needed to connect the app to arduino is in the manual on GitHub: https://github.com/johnspice/libraryScreenArduino
Advantage:
-wireless screen (bluetooth)
-only uses 2 arduino pins (tx,rx), leaving many pins free.
-touch screen
- The next version will draw pre-loaded images on the mobile, it will also work via otg.
Disadvantages:
- screen refreshes must be greater than 1000ms
- The more elements you draw, the refresh should be higher.
