In Sandwich Sudoku, the puzzle is presented with extra numbers outside the grid next to each row and column. These numbers indicate the SUM of cells sandwiched between the 1 and the 9 in that row/column. The logic required to solve the puzzles will appeal to anyone who enjoys normal sudoku and a bit of basic maths. Each puzzle here has been lovingly hand-crafted by Mark Goodliffe and Simon Anthony, the hosts of Cracking The Cryptic. They've even included their own hints on each puzzle to help if you get stuck. Comments about Sandwich Sudoku Android Version

The puzzles themselves are excellent just like all of CtC's apps, but the menu on this app is so much worse! I don't know why the interface had to be changed for this one, but I really wish there was a visual indicator that showed which puzzles are in progress like the other apps have. If I leave one partially complete, it becomes a guessing game to find which puzzle I was working through. That's a real shame.

Love this game. The cryptic guys definitely thought this through, but then I would have expected no less. There are occasions where I have to hit a number button multiple times before it is registered in a cell. There needs to be more contrast between a selected number and shaded boxes, rows and columns. Multicolor themes with a color on the top interfere with the sandwich numbers across the top of the grid. Fix the button glitch and give more contrast and I will give the game 5 stars.

The game is great, the hints are sometimes inscrutable, but the reason I give it 4 stars is it chews through battery life faster than games with far more graphical fidelity going on. Why? Probably Unity. This game is not at all graphically intense, so I'm guessing it's engine stuff in the background. But I can play this game for 30 minutes and lose double the battery life I do with Arknights, for example. Hope they optimize that in the future.
