Rudymentary Description
Rudymentary serves to act as a open-source, local music player with several quality-of-life features that is built off of interpreting the metadata/tags associated with audio files. [1]
In order to deliver a pervasive and enjoyable user experience, the app provides a number of features to facilitate congenial interaction.
FEATURE LIST:
• Ability to select various folders to automatically categorize all audio files contained within them based on file metadata
• Built-in support for synchronized lyrics (if provided by 'a .lrc' file)
• Quick, dynamic playlist creation
• An intuitive 'Now Playing' bar that can be expanded by swiping up, providing a slew of quickly accessible, desired actions, like an independent volume slider, the ability to loop/shuffle the queue, skip forwards/backwards, seek to a specific timestamp, and more
• Modular, user-customizable app themes that can be used to overhaul the chromatic theming of the UI
• "Smart" translation/transliteration services to quickly and comprehensive translate/transliterate the lyrics of a provided song [2]
• Ability to search through your whole library with a simple search bar
• A provided slider to modify the scale at which album tiles/icons are rendered at
• Gesture-driven actions in order to let you get back to listening instead of organizing

[1] More specifically, ID3v2 tags are read. For convenient access to editing the metadata of your music files as you like, using a program like 'MP3TagEdit' is suggested.
