Royal Ur Description
A version of this game was originally played in ancient Mesopotamia around 4500 years ago.

Objective

Run all your pieces through the course and out before your opponent.

Rules

Piece movements are determined by rolling four pyramid-shaped dice. Two of the four corners of each die are marked, giving each die a 50% chance of landing with a marked or unmarked corner facing up.
After rolling, the total number of marked ends facing upwards indicates how many spaces a player may move during that turn.

Players are required to move a piece whenever possible, even if it results in an unfavorable outcome.
Rolling a zero will automatically skip your turn. Sometimes it is impossible to move the indicated amount of spaces and the turn is also automatically skipped.

If a player lands a piece on a space already occupied by one of their opponent's pieces, the opponent's piece is captured and sent back to the beginning, off the board.

The spaces that have a mandala are special. Landing in one of them will grant a second roll of the dice. In addition, pieces on mandala spaces can't be captured.

To exit a piece off the board at the end of the course the player must roll the exact number of spaces remaining plus one.

Comments about Royal Ur Android Version
A great game that is too much unbalanced towards the AI, that invariably gets the most favorable dice combinations. I have played several matches and in *all* of them I got multiple zero-point dice rolls and not more than 1-2 4-point rolls, while the reverse was true for the AI. To make matters worse, each time my pieces were in "dangerous" positions, the AI rolled dice combinations that allowed it to capture the pieces. The game is enjoyable and the graphics is amazing, but what is the point of playing if you are always doomed to lose? EDIT: Many thanks to the developer for the quick reply and for the link to the github repo. Still, the problem could reside not in the code itself but rather in the pseudo-random number generator used for simulating dice rolls, as these generators are notoriuos for having some form of bias.
best looking of the ur games but drains the battery because of a tilt perspective effect that you can't turn off (there are no settings at all!) and is completely unnecessary for the game. so my phone that normally lasts all day got 2 hours. i have to use another app. though most of the interface is the best in this app. simplicity.
A great implementation!! Some more rules would be nice, since I can't tell if there's some special variant, or a bug sometimes. :-)
