Rotas Modernistas Description
The modern architecture developed in Recife between the decades of
1940s and 1970s has great expressiveness, but still little
recognized by the general population. With the advancement of technology and the
dissemination of applications on mobile devices, the ROTAS project
MODERNISTAS aims to expand knowledge about this architecture
produced in Recife through the creation of a mobile application (IOS and
Android) based on the geolocation of these works and thus,
allowing the creation of routes that congregate these buildings (residential,
institutional and others) in representative groups such as typologies, authors of the
design and year of construction. In addition, the project also seeks to raise awareness
preservation agency about the relevance of this architecture and, in this way,
expand the list of heritage properties.
