About the reciter: He was born in a village called Al Shobra Namla in Tanta, Egypt and first recited the Quran in his village mosque. In 1944, In 1949, Mahmoud Khalil Al Hussary was appointed reciter of Sidi Ahmed Al Badaoui of Tanta, Masjid Al Ahmadi and then of Masjid Al Imam Al Hussein in Cairo by 1955.
