Pixelscapes Wallpaper is a collection of three out of this world animated pixel art wallpapers.

Wallpaper one: Grab a blanket and settle down on the edge of a lake. Across is a warm little house, a street light, and some snow-covered trees, but none of that compares to the clear starry night waiting overhead.

Wallpaper two: Venture out to sea and discover strange grassy land forms in the ocean, holding a house, a windmill, and mysterious people. If only you could jump on that boat and sail away.

Wallpaper three: Take a break and rest on the beach. Watch the sun's rays shine into the ocean, lighting up the sea life underneath the surface.

I really like the side-scrolling animated wallpapers that this app features. It adds a nice feel to the homescreen and you can even customize which ones appear at what times. I think they could have added a lot more features and even some more wallpapers but I like it regardless and this has stayed my wallpaper since the day I installed it.

Pros: Lovely live wallpaper. Doesn't drain battery. Calming and entertaining to watch, and they're not noisy/does not make screen contents hard to view. You can set the scene as you like or by time of day, and set movement speed. Cons (only if it matters to you): only 3 scenes to choose from (would love more, and possibly be able to choose which scene goes to what time of day). Does not switch views with home screen switching (personally fine with this).

There's something about an app that doesn't need any permissions that makes it that much more alluring lol. But honestly, the retro look is awesome coupled with a minimal draw on the battery and you've got a winner. One drawback though; it's supposed to change to match the time of day but it never worked for me.
