Fun game! Found it through Northern Lion's stream. If you're used to regular chess, being able to see pins/forks/trades seem to be the most important thing. Beating all 3 witches at 100% difficulty is really hard. But if you can roll a bunch of rooks/catapults/royal guards + a prince or gorgon it's doable. I wish there were incentives to use other pieces though. Maybe achievements for beating a run with a certain piece? Also discrete difficulty levels instead of a slider would feel better.

I like it a lot. The pieces are very thoughtfully designed, I especially like the troll and the dragon. The AI is... Sometimes it's really good. It doesn't really know what to do to win the match. I just won a game where I had nothing but a king and an egg, the enemy's viking just followed my king around for a bit, ignoring the egg even though it taking it would have won the match. Once I hung my king, the viking just moved away, so I just forked it with the king and won the match.

I love that game! It such a fun spin on chess! Only wish the game would remember I bought it when I don't have an internet connection.
