Every year the best ninjas are invited to join the Ninja Battle Royale. If they join the battle they cannot quit anymore. They have to keep challenging each other in one vs one fights till the end of the year. Forget your friends, your home, your previous life...
only when the year is over the ninja with the highest score becomes the fighter of the year. All the other ninjas can consider themselves lucky to be still alive, and hope to get invited the following year too to the Battle Royale.
