MyChapter Description
Introducing MyChapter, the personal app for your college fraternity or
sorority chapter! Use MyChapter to connect, organize and engage with
fellow undergraduate members, alumni members and prospective new
members (PNMs). It's the new platform for all fraternity and sorority
services designed to drive up engagement and affinity for your
organization... and it's developed by fellow Greeks like you.
Current Features:
o Managing Chapter Membership
- Chapter admins login and create their university, national and local chapter
- Chapter admins add undergrad and alumni members via spreadsheet or 1x1
- Members login and connect to their pre-registered chapter account
- Members setup their profile, class year, contact info, major/profession...
- Members add their clubs & interests and make connections with members & PNMs
- Members add links to their SocialMedia sites for easy navigation
- Members can add their educational pursuits and connect with alumni/members
o Engaging with fellow Members
- Members can easily connect with fellow members using MyChapter's contact info
- ListView displays member contact info, majors/professions, clubs/interests...
- IconView displays all member profile pictures to easily find a familiar face
- Members can be filtered on class year, home state, alumni/undergrad...
o Map View
- Members can view a map of fellow Members who provide their home addresses
- Area events, e.g. dinners, golf, drinks..., can be setup near most Members
- Filtering on class year allows Members to see just classmates in their era
o Voting
- Digital voting for chapter elections, recruiting and internal opinion polls
- Conduct elections at light speed with great post election analytics
- Members can create private polls among friends or the whole chapter
- Opinion Polls can be used for merit programs, e.g. Kindest Act (of the week)
o Recruitment
- MyChapter is also available for Potential New Members (PNMs) for browsing
- PNMs can view select information about campus chapters of interest
- PNMs can see which chapters align best with their clubs, interests or majors
- MyChapter provides great information about PNMs and possible matches
- Member/PNM interactions are easily tracked for great analytics
- Recruitment efforts are more fruitful and more effective
- Fraternity/sorority chapters can find and connect with the best PNMs
o ScoreBoards
- ScoreBoards are point systems or leaderboards for a variety of activities
- MyChapter supports individual member and chapter-wide ScoreBoards
- Individual ScoreBoards among peers can be golf birdies, weight loss, grades...
- Chapter ScoreBoards include meeting attendance, service hours, house jobs...
- ScoreBoards easily setup by defining actions and associated points earned
- ScoreBoard admins record actions to populate leaderboards of points earned
- Any member can create a private ScoreBoard among fellow Members or PNMs
- ScoreBoards can be member private, organization private or public
