Good game with good concept, but flawed. The main thing that bugs me is the overall interface. I like the style and simplicity, but unfortunately texts are getting cut off on the right side of the screen no matter which way you turn your phone. Also, navigating your own music (if you have a bigger library) is annoying, since the scrolling is rather slow and no search option either. I really like it but there is definitely room for improvemet on the technical side.

It's the closest thing to OG audiosurf as you're going to get on the phone, it's just that the 'on the phone' part really sticks out by being bombarded with ads, having microtransactions and half hearted game design. OG Audiosurf was keeping pace with the songs very nicely, Musiverse goes to 200 km/h when your song hits what feels 50 beats per minute. Cheapens the fun as it ends up feeling very disconnected to the song. At least removing ads was just 0.99€.

The game does its thing pretty well. The track gen is good and I can actually play my own songs now. But I believe having an option to change the visuals would be beneficial. The constant shaking of the track throws me off on timing for a bit, as well as causing a bit of motion sickness. I also can't see what's in front of me that much since the camera is zoomed in to the back of the ship. Having the option to change the visuals would really help improve the game further, then I'll give 5 stars.
