The Microsoft SwiftKey beta app for Android will not replace the regular Microsoft SwiftKey app on your phone, but will be downloaded as a second app so you can switch between the two for comparison.

Beta Expectations

Features in the beta app are in active development and might not work perfectly or ever be released to the main Microsoft SwiftKey app.

Comments about Microsoft SwiftKey Beta Android Version

This is easily the worst keyboard I've used. You try to swipe words and if you're off just a tiny bit, it picks a really obscure word and no matter how many times to retry, it just keeps putting the same word forcing you to have to manually type it... Like a caveman. Also, it's supposed to remember words you type automatically, but it won't preserve the capital letters. E.g., "PlayStation" keeps getting put as "Playstation".
I keep going between this and gboard. The translation aspect that's built in as well as the the simplicity of use is key for me. My only gripe is that I wish the keys were separated by one more pixel or so.. I continuesly seem to hit the period when I press the spacebar. For reference, that is the ONLY reason I would consider switching back to gboard.
As i've seen others mentioning, i have recently noticed capitalization issues, which i never have run into over the many many many years of use. Quite frustrating, as it is a pretty integral part of proper grammar. Please fix, just this issue alone makes me consider switching apps.
