By scanning the matrix 2D code embedded in the
BullionProtect® and the serial number of a given bar, not only the
authenticity of the bar can be checked, but also more information on the
bar are available.
The BullionProtect® security feature is one of the several layers of security used by Metalor to prevent counterfeiting.
It has been developed with the Swiss company SICPA,
a trusted global provider of security inks as well as secured
identification, traceability and authentication solutions. This solution
is highly secured and can be simply and immediately
verified by different tools including Metalor Check application.
Metalor Check application also can be used for
verifying Metalor products bearing only a Datamatrix code, including
small investment minted bars.
