The player chooses the size of the maze or labyrinth before playing.
In the 2-dimensional maze, moving red squares will try to stop the player from getting out. The game ends when one of the red squares catches the player (the player looses) or the player reaches the exit (the player wins). The number of red squares is the same regardless of the size of the maze. Thus, the larger the maze, the less of a chance that the one of the red squares will catch the player. Of course, on the other hand, the larger the maze, the harder it is to solve or figure out.
In the 3-dimensional labyrinth, a map can be consulted to help the player as they meander through the various passageways. The player can make marks on the map to help them determine their location. Moving red shadows move randomly through the labyrinth. If a red shadow catches up with the player, the player looses . Luckily, the shadows cannot see through the glass walls or around corners.
As the puzzle is randomly generated, the game can be ridiculously easy, fiendishly (or impossibly) difficult, or anything in between. Note that the game need to be played in landscape orientation on your device
