Additionally, landing on a space occupied by one's own token creates a block, preventing other tokens from passing. Tokens can stack on the same space and form a "safe spot" where they cannot be captured by opponents.

The key aspect of Ludo is the concept of capturing opponents' tokens. If a player's token lands on the same space as an opponent's token, the opponent's token is captured and sent back to their starting area. However, two or more tokens of the same player on the same space form a blockade that cannot be captured.
