The game is a turn-based online strategy game in which players need to recover "Sacred Knowledge" by learning different technologies by collecting and combining different "Shards of Truth".
Game sessions consist of a limited number of rounds, each of which consists of a strategic and diplomatic stages. The game ends after at least one of the players has learned one of the final technologies, or after the maximum number of rounds have elapsed.
Long ago, the sages of the Kingdom created a magical artifact that endowed the wearer with boundless wisdom. He was dubbed "Sacred Knowledge" and placed under guard in the temple. With the help of the artifact, the sages led their people to greatness and prosperity, carefully keeping it a secret from prying eyes. Once, a novice of the temple was seized by a thirst for power, and unable to take possession of the artifact on his own, he decided to reveal its secret to the whole world, wanting to get it by the power of the wrong hands. However, this did not give him what he wanted, but only ruined it, for one thing giving birth to armies of the vain, who desired the power of the artifact. Unable to save the "Sacred Knowledge" anymore, the sages decided to split it into many "Shards of Truth" and divide them among themselves so that everyone could hide them as deeply as possible without the knowledge of the others. Meanwhile, the Kingdom was dying, engulfed in the flames of the wars of the artifact seekers. Only many years later, there was hope for peace, when the feudal lords of the castles founded by the fleeing sages decided to join forces and assemble an artifact from the inherited fragments in order to restore their former greatness to their people.
