2. Install both Windows and Android apps
3. Connect apps via WiFi, Bluetooth or a Web-server.
4. (Optional) Create account in Windows app in order to enable Layout Editor and Autohotkey plugins creation.
What makes us different from other PC remote control apps:
• Keyboard Extension is a remote control app for a PC indeed but it is not just that! It is a productivity app with loads of features to boost your performance, automate routines and save you some time when working or playing on your Windows computer.
• Unlike other apps of this kind you no longer need to manually select a layout on your mobile device as layouts appear automatically upon activation of the Windows app window.
• You don’t need to update layouts - they get updated automatically.
• Create your own layouts with buttons, sliders, progress bars, toggles, radio buttons, checkboxes, .. to control your computer application.

Q. What connection method is the best for my devices?
• WiFi: recommended for most of the users with computer and mobile device sharing the same router;
• Bluetooth: requires a modern Bluetooth adapter on your computer and your phone.
• Web-server: if you are experiencing issues with firewalls, your devices are not in the same network, you don’t have a spare Bluetooth adapter.
Connection via WiFi and Bluetooth does not require your portable device to be connected to the Internet.
Q. Do I need to create an account?
No, it is not obligatory, though highly recommended. Without an account you can access all publicly available layouts and plugins. You will need to create an account if you want to have your own layouts and plugins. It also opens access to advanced functionality and a wider selection of plugins.
