Yoo Jimin or better known as Karina Aespa is a member of Aespa who came from South Korea with Winter. Before becoming a K-pop idol, Karina was known as Ulzzang who was popular with the public. Until one day, SM Entertainment staff invited him via DM or Direct Message to audition. Finally Karina passed the audition and officially became an SM Entertainment trainee.

Her journey to being a trainee for four years went smoothly when Karina Aespa was named the second member of aespa. But before that, Karina Aespa has also filled in the video clip from Taemin entitled Want which was released in February 2019. Karina Aespa has also been a backup dance during the promotion of the song Want.
