It's a good app. I don't have issues playing videos on the app or casting it to my TV. The video quality is good when casting. One issue that has been going on for months now is that I can't add videos to my watchlist. Before it would say it was added but there was nothing in my list. Now it just says error when I try adding videos.

Kanooy is doing a public service by providing a catalog of great TV, music and films for free through your local library. UPDATE: Whatever changes have been made for the app prevent adding films to my Watchlist. Whenever I try to add film or TV show now a pop-up appears that simply says 'ERROR". I can browse, but tapping the + no longer works. However, I can go online, as well as to the Google smart TV app via Play, and it works fine. It then appears on the phone app.

Not a bad app but I wish it would remember where I was in my show. If I exit out then go back, it's more likely to put me back to the first episode in the series, or some previous episode, not the middle of the episode I was last watching. Also, I can't figure out how the credits get used up. I fell asleep with my phone frozen on the stopped screen, then I checked it after midnight. I think it deleted one of my credits and I didn't even watch anything.. But I do like the quality of programming.
