IRC Client Lite is a simplified Internet Relay Chat application.

It contains only the basic functions needed for online chat. It helps you find people with similar interests. An internet connection is required to use the application.

After starting, set the connection parameters:

nick - your name used during the chat
password - you only need to set this if you have it, otherwise leave it out
server - set the server domain name or choose from the list with the button below the field
port - here you can set the server port by overriding the default one

If everything is fine, you can connect to the server with the CONNECT button.

If the connection was successful, a form will appear on which you can set the name of the channel you wish to connect to.

On the channel page, you can find the message panel in the left column.
The chat on the channel will appear here.
On the right side, you will find the name of the channel you joined, and the users who previously joined below.


Below you will find the field you can use to send your message.
Just click on it and start writing your message.

You can also have a private chat with users on the channel.
Just click on a user's name in the right column.
The user's name will then appear in the upper right corner.

Messages are only stored by the application during runtime.

Icons on the page help you navigate:

disconnect - Disconnecting from the server.
hash - Change the channel.
blinking bell - Appears when a user has invited a private chat. Just click on it and in the panel that appears, click on the user's name.
back arrow - Exit the private chat.
question mark - Open description.
