Häcker check.connect System Description
We, as Häcker Quality Management, have made it our task to bring about an appropriate digital quality transformation. Basically, it is our goal to increase the company's performance and to meet the future requirements and expectations of Häcker kitchens even more effectively and efficiently. We sustainably improve the quality results of the process chains in dialogue with our customers, society, business partners, employees and other interested parties. The possibilities of digitization offer us potential to rethink processes and make them more effective and efficient.
The Häcker check.connect system is one of the results of this initiative in the field of material procurement. Our check.connect system, which is capable of development, supports the process of carrying out material tests on purchased parts (standard parts) - from goods receipt to goods issue for every player involved in the supply chain. The goal is not to pass on any faulty material and thus to conserve resources in the long term.
benefits
Strengthening of the partnership relationship
The testing processes and requirements along the international supply chain are agreed and continuously synchronized between the supplier and Häcker. Information and requirements are provided centrally via the check.connect system. The check.connect system uses proven quality processes to guide you through the test process and continuously ensures compliance with the test standards. This standardized procedure, positive results and the joint further development of the check.connect system strengthen mutual trust and the partnership.
Excellent transparency and communication
The check.connect system offers a jointly usable, digital platform for clear communication and fact-based decision-making based on the recorded quality information. All those responsible look at identical data in real time or use an up-to-date, generally applicable quality database.
Reduction and avoidance of error costs
The implementation of the check.connect system creates a collective awareness of optimal quality. Deviations are recognized by the suppliers on site and jointly targeted measures are initiated. Supposedly faulty material is not passed on and cost-intensive measures, such as goods returns, are avoided.
Smart use of capacities
The check.connect system is designed to check as much as necessary and as little as possible in the supply chain. Due to low error rates, the scope of testing at Häcker as well as at the supplier is drastically reduced. By reducing the scope of testing, the goods can be transported to the subsequent production processes even more quickly. The resources saved can be used more efficiently and effectively.
Known quality
Thanks to the documented tests, quality data on the production batches are available at all times. If, contrary to expectations, deviations are found afterwards, units that are still available can be traced using the batch ID and targeted corrective measures can be implemented.
Create sustainable knowledge
The detailed documentation of the quality data in the check.connect system creates a valuable database for the supply chain, which can be analyzed in many ways. The analysis results are used for the joint evaluation of the quality performance achieved and indicate necessary measures for the future. The question "where are our weak points and which screws must be strategically turned to eliminate them?" can then be answered reliably with the help of "big quality data".
