Around the year 2013 the desire to put a radio arose, my wife Elia and I decided to request permission from the Minnesota Seventh-day Adventist conference, which was granted, but we really did not know where to start, nor did we know anyone who will guide us However, God had other plans, always related to a radio. In those days, Pr. Luis Cabrera invited us to announce in R.J.A., for which we were and are still very grateful for the opportunity that was given to us. We were broadcasting for about 8 years on said radio until mid-2020.

3 years ago I was listening to the theme of a shepherd, and he mentioned the book of Isaiah chapter 6 verse 8, and for some reason, once again, the call of the prophet Isaiah resonated with us: Who shall I send and who will go for we? Then I answered. Here I am, send me.

I usually say that nothing is coincidence. Therefore, I recognize that the Holy Spirit deposited that phrase Here I am, send me. It was from there that the name of this Ministry arose.

Looking at the blessings that God has given us, my wife and I decided to donate the first 13 hectares of land that we acquired by the grace of God, and together we decided and asked ourselves why not build a sanitarium and focus on medical missionary work and share with the less fortunate and invest in eternal things? My wife looked for the name of the sanatorium. "Light of hope".

What at first was something small, referring to the ministry, is getting bigger every time. There was a time when we really did not have in mind to put a radio, but God has his plans and the time has come.

Sometimes God takes you out of a place in an unorthodox way, to work in a more compromising way in his work and that's how we asked ourselves, what if we put on a Radio? At first we kind of doubted, but we saw that God had people with talents and gifts and we realized that we know those people.

We told our brother Augusto Palacios, and then Vanina Perucci, and they agreed to help with the radio, then Diana García and Ismari Velázquez joined. By then I told the Ptr. Buttem, a great friend of the family, and said "go ahead." From there, God has allowed more people to be added, including other ministries, such as "The ninth hour" directed by Augusto, the ministry "Breaking the silence" by Vanina, "youth ministry for Christ" directed by Joaquin Canul Aguayo. Therefore, we are many people committed to spreading the gospel. In addition, we thank brother Marcelino Baena who gave us the support and the first server for the Radio.

Thanks to the efforts of Augusto Palacios, and the entire team, the Heme Aquí Radio ministry began broadcasting live on September 5, 2020, through its website www.hemeaquiradio.com and through its Facebook page. All this thanks to the driving and direction of our loving God.

There is no doubt that God is directing the Ministry; With your blessing we will soon have a sanatorium and a school in Coapilla, Chiapas, Mexico, to focus on the medical missionary work and in combination we will preach the word of God to the world, through the communication medium that is Internet Radio.

We are servants of God, stewards of him, and we are working in his vineyard. We are grateful to all who make up this beautiful Ministry, because together we have responded to God by saying: send us.

Currently we are already taking legal advice for the Luz de Esperanza Sanatorium, for Coapilla. We count on your prayers to continue working together in the work of our Savior.
