Grazia Sozzi Description
Grazia Sozzi born in Catania on 13-01-1971.
Graduated with honors in foreign languages and literature, since she was a child she has always had a natural inclination for art and painting. By participating in various painting courses held by well-known Sicilian artists she has been able to cultivate and refine her skills by experimenting with the different techniques: from watercolor to gauches, from acrylic to oil painting. He has taken part in a cultural association "timeless artists" and has participated in various group exhibitions exhibiting his works. In December 2007 he participated in the painting competition "Sentire il Natale", where he received recognition for merit. In 2008 he exhibited his watercolors and drawings made with Indian ink at the art studio "il Caravaggio" in Tino Tomaselli. Also in 2008 he participated in the collective painting and sculpture "from the volcano to the sea the landscapes and flavors of our land" at the pavilion of the Le Ciminiere exhibition center in Catania.
In 2009 he participated in the collective painting, sculpture and photography "touches of color" at Villa Fortuna in Acitrezza. In 2014 he participated in the Ortigia Arte prize by exhibiting his watercolors.
On September 4, 2016, the painter also participated in the Madonna della Stella Val di Catania art prize. On March 8, 2017, she participated in the "magic of yellow" art collective organized by the cultural association La Cariatide Artistic Academy - the May 21, 2017 the artist participated, at Villa Garbo Letojanni (Taormina sea), in the culture festival, on the occasion of the 2017 Unesco world day for cultural diversity, for dialogue and development and received the Villa Hauser award for painting
Finally, in April 2023 he received a certificate of merit by participating in a collective exhibition in Catania "Corte Montesano Arte"
