Cubos Adriatic Description
Cubos Adriatic is designed as a mobile game intended for younger children with developed reading skills between 6 and 12 years old. It is a game that thematizes anthropomorphic animal characters who walk around the Croatian islands solving various "tasks" along the way and learning about Croatian cultural heritage and geographical and historical specificities.
The characters are cute animals who try to achieve certain goals in that island environment, such as collecting coins or other objects. In doing so, the player has to solve a number of smaller mini-games
within the main game wouldn't you be able to progress further to the next island.
Cubos Adriatic is a kind of homage to retro games of the eighties and nineties. With its visuals (cubic form of characters and objects) and goals that the characters have (collecting coins), as well as overall aesthetics, it reminds of classics such as Super Mario, but also some more modern works such as Animal Crossing or Roblox.
The game belongs to the life simulation game genre and in this case it simulates an entire ecosystem and the relationship of the characters within that ecosystem.
Since the main character of the game can access the offered tasks in his own order and even return to the islands he has successfully solved, it is about non-linear gameplay.
