Comments about Evoland 2 Android Version

This game is a blast for fans of classic games. It takes clear inspiration from Chrono Trigger, but is also influenced by games from across the history of gaming. I love it! I will add that there are a few bugs. The controls in the "Turing tests" are awkward on mobile, I don't like how the D-pad for those works. Also, there's a bug in the strategic battles, where the charged "punch" can knock an enemy into an ally's space, preventing both units from acting and being targeted.

The game itself is pretty fun. The biggest issue is the controls. They are horrendous in most of the game modes and are slow or fail to respond often. For me, the breaking point was during a minigame in a certain laboratory that involved playing classic arcade style games. The gamepad changed to a classic D-pad type control. However, it was extremely unresponsive and basically too frustrating after the continued control struggles to continue. A shame because the story was enjoyable. Too jank.

Really enjoy the game so far but like many have said, some of the mini games can be near impossible if you have bigger fingers and no controller. I think a really easy fix would be to implement a setting to allow the user to adjust the size of the virtual D-pad. The game itself is 5 stars, but rating gets knocked because of that issue.
