Final ZE8000 guide Description
Final has been a longstanding favourite in the audiophile world, it's a Japanese brand with a reputation for quality audio and outstanding design.

While it's well-established in hi-fi circles, it's a newcomer to the Bluetooth scene, only having launched its first TWS buds and wireless ANC headphones in 2022.

The brand's debut Bluetooth products were both on the affordable end of the spectrum, with the price sitting around the $149 mark. And they were both very impressive for the price point. This year, however, Final is kicking things up a notch.
Final ZE8000 review: Serious sound

The ZE8000 are Final's first foray into the high-end true wireless market. We find out how they stack up against the competition.
The ZE8000 are Final's first attempt at a flagship true wireless earphone, and they come in at a price of $349 / £299 / €329. The question is, can these new buds live up to the premium price tag? We've been trying them out.

The Final ZE8000 produce truly exceptional sound, possibly the best we've ever heard from a wireless earphone. They lack some basic features, but with sound this good, we're happy to work around the shortcomings.

The Final ZE8000 true wireless boasts a very fine, neutral-sounding performance with music, but the noise-cancelling disappoints, the battery life is below par and issues with comfort derail these expensive wireless earbuds.

We review the final ZE8000, which is a single dynamic driver active noise canceling TWS featuring the company’s proprietary 8k sound technology. It is priced at £299.

Boutique Japanese audio maker Final Audio has a small, but very loyal fan base thanks to the company’s work in the wired in-ear monitor (IEM) space, where it sells beautifully designed, high-performance earbuds that cost as much as $2,100. But it has also been taking steps to offer its customers the convenience of wireless earbuds at prices that are considerably more accessible.

When compared to those sky-high IEMs, its newest product — the Final Audio ZE8000 — are far less expensive. But at $349, don’t call them affordable. Price-wise, they’re near the top of the true wireless world.

The ZE3000 and ZE2000 are among some of my favorite wireless buds, so I was pretty excited to get the chance to review the Final Audio ZE8000, the company’s new true wireless flagship. Its $350 tag puts it squarely in high-end territory when it comes to wireless earphones, so my expectations are set a bit higher than usual. When I first put the ZE8000 in my ears, I was fully expecting a familiar timbre and balance: some sort of enhanced ZE3000 or ZE2000. What I heard instead surprised me, and isn’t quite like anything I’ve heard from Final. The Final Audio ZE8000 is a pleasant new wireless release, and as usual, I’ll be going over some of its physical and technical details before I talk about what it sounds like.
