Black Pink (BLACKPINK) is a South Korean (K-pop) female singer group formed by YG Entertainment, consisting of members such as Kim Jisoo, Jennie Kim, Roseanne Park, and Lalisa Manoban.

BlackPink debuted on August 8, 2016, with their single titled Square One, which resulted in "Whistle," their first number one song in South Korea. The single also resulted in "Boombayah", their first number one single on the Billboard World Digital Songs chart, which set the record for the most-watched debut music video by a Korean artist. With their commercial success in the first five months, they earned New Artist of the Year at the 31st Golden Disc Awards and 26th Seoul Music Awards.

BlackPink is a female K-pop artist who has topped the Billboard Hot 100, peaked at number 55 with "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du", and on the Billboard 200, peaked at number 40 with an EP titled Square Up. They are the first and only female K-pop group to enter and top Billboard's Emerging Artists charts.
